How do people beat the Emma fight? I fought every enemy in both previous dungeons and am only level 2, so no real upgrades yet, and even after losing and restarting the fight with full HP and clothing, she just rebuilds bots too quickly to ever try to fight her 1v1 or 2v1, and fighting her 3v1 leads to you dying.

Game seems like it has potential but that fight feels like it's a huge RNG fest where you just have to pray they miss enough attacks that you get lucky enough to win. Also, to make matters worse, since you don't have any way to farm money, once you're out of gold and healing items, the fight is even harder.

The whole "Defeat sends you back to the start with full health and clothes meaning you have to go through RNG fest again to get any bondage gear built up" kinda kills any reason to see the bondage imho. Which given the whole fact that enemies just out and out refuse to use anything other than their attacks that drain HP 80% of the time and it makes me confused what the actual focus is with this game. Defeat has no consequence other than make the game take longer in multiple ways (Tiredness isn't reset, and once that builds up it seems to nuke your damage with no other side effects, for example.) which is weird for a BDSM focused game.

I'm currently working on version 0.3+. I've read all your feedback. I'm trying to incorporate as much as possible, while keeping the spirit of the game.
Maybe make the Hypno stat have a hidden feature where it can lead to decisions being in a more corrupt route (by, say, altered perception, new lewd attacks/skills, changes in clothes, etc) which, while may not affect the story progression, can affect an ending perhaps.

Personally I would prefer if the game focused more on the bondage gear than the health meter. I would propose the following mechanics:
  1. Progressively spawn specialized enemies based on the state of the player. For example, initially encounters will contain enemies that focus on undressing the player. As the player wears fewer and fewer garments, encounters will contain enemies focused on applying bondage gear. As an increasing amount of bondage gear gets applied to the player, encounters will now start to contain enemies that focus on modifying the worn bondage gear, such as applying locks, upgrading their item level, and applying special properties (i.e. -10% attack and +10% defense). Eventually you could have encounters contain hypnosis focused enemies. Finally encounters could contain special enemies that try to fail or derail the mission itself.
  2. Provide an option to struggle against having gear applied (normally I hate QTEs, but they could fit in here) or removal of worn gear. You could also have stripping enemies taunt with the stolen garment and then leave the fight to hide it somewhere on the map.
  3. The environment could have triggers that check for the state of the character. For example traps or doors that activate only if the player is wearing a full set of maid-themed bondage items, is naked, and so on.
  4. Give the player an incentive to wear bondage gear: for example having a "Bondage Gear Collector" NPC who rewards the player if they return from a mission (or begin one) wearing gear with specific properties. At the same time, wearing that gear could make finishing the mission take more effort, increase risk of failure, or give some disadvantage that could persist into the next mission.

Here's hoping we can also get force equip toys, like piercings and bullet vibes. The later one would be great as it could easily stack. Just add another remote and cable running from a thigh strap. Boom done. Stack a few of em and your arousal rockets up.

I modified the Hypno stat for version 0.3. Now, It is no longer reset when it reaches 100. When the stat is at 100, enemies using Hypno can inflict states ailments, lower certain stats, etc... Any ideas are welcome.
From some of my favorite games that have hypnosis during battle fuck, some of the ideas I have include...
  • Commands failing to register and you just lose a turn. It's the simple one.
  • If the enemy specializes in hypnosis, they can force Luna to do something else like attack herself or waste her healing spell and heal them instead. (Do not do that thing in Persona where items get thrown out. That was awful and this game is already tight with money.)
  • Accuracy decreases due to the trance like state
  • Resistance having a higher chance of failure.
  • If it's a certain boss, automatically result in a capture and an escape map
  • if hypnosis persists outside of battle and you're in an area with shady people, make it harder to resist them
Getting rid of the status requires sleeping it off or having a meditating option in battle that doesn't just lower sexual arousal. A calm mind can resist hypnosis. Meditating during battle against a hypno heavy enemy is pointless given they can just reapply it super easy.

It won't let me continue with my previous save. It keeps letting me go after finishing the second mission, or should I start with a new save? Or does anyone have a save right after finishing Chapter 2?

Did you try talking to the nurse in the base?

I can see the vision here. Looking forward to seeing how things develop!
I think a lot of what I'd want to see was already voiced earlier in the thread, but I'd definitely emphasize the wish to see more with the hypnosis and passives mechanics.
Also more overtly sexual content would be good. So far things are pretty softcore and that tends to be pretty unsatisfying for me, but if that's the dev's preference, I won't begrudge them for that. I can live with softcore and kinky.

Personally I think the ailment states are interesting, but lowering stats is not. Risking losing stats that might lock me out from certain content just makes me want to avoid engaging with the hypnosis content altogether.
I think the way to go is ailments only, and expand upon their concept. You could make some ailments upgradeable/stackable, and you could have an ailment type that is "latent ailments" (for lack of a better term) which program commands onto Luna (e.g. if Luna has a "Latent: Force Masturbation" ailment, hypnosis-focused enemies would have an option to command her to spend her next turn masturbating, dancing, etc.).

Choyoru Found a bug with the minigame. If you are taking an order from a customer and you are adjacent to another customer who also wants their order taken, the game acts like you took orders from both of them.

The stats that can be reduced by hypnosis are only bonuses for certain interactions. Having 0 in these stats will not result in a lock from certain content. For example: with 0 in lockpicking, you have a 40% chance of freeing yourself. With 100, your chances increase to 80%. My goal is not to prevent people from accessing certain content by lowering the stats.

For those looking for the next part of the game. A small error has crept into version 0.2 (the next part does not unlock when talking to Commander Mako). To unlock the outfit, you must go to the bar in town and talk to the bartender.

I have read your feedback. In future updates, I will add enemies that use Hypnosis. This will also include more skills for enemies that use Hypnosis. If you have any ideas for enemy designs for hypnosis, you can post them on the game's Discord server.

One thing about the minigame I noticed is that the pigs won't even give you time to actually grab the item from the bartender. I'll talk to him, he'll tell me what he wants and then gets angry after the dialogue ends and its like "Do you want it or not you stupid pig?!"
And one thing I noticed in other games with serving is how you can hold more than one item. In Karyn's prison, you can have up to 3 items. In the Battle Maiden game, you can have as many items that equal to the weight of 10. Here, it's only one item, you don't know what you're holding and you end up slowing down from one item. I think if you are going to reduce the speed of Luna, you should let her hold more than one glass because it's kind of ridiculous that she's slowed down by one item. Combine that with not being able to see what you are holding and the pigs currently getting angry at random intervals instead of if you take too long, it's pretty tedious.

I plan to improve the mini-game in the future. I'm thinking of adding a portrait of Luna as a waitress with her tray, so you can see what drink she's carrying. I'd also like to add the ability to return the drink to the bartender if you make a mistake.
I could also add the system to carry 3 drinks on its tray.
Or add a scene where she sells her panties. And manage her horniness level.

In that case it doesn't sound so bad, I expected lockpicking involved locked doors or lootchests.
The game does seem to have a lot of stats which I can't seem to find an explanation of anywhere. Resistance and Willpower sounds useful if I want to avoid sexy stuff, but it's unclear what it does. Tiredness seems to reduce damage dealt, but it's unclear what causes it to increase. Phantasm seems to increase or decrease after climaxing, but it's unclear what it does. It's also unclear how ATK, SPE, AGI and Luck affects gameplay.

Sorry I know this isn't Discord, but here some basic suggestions:

Hypnosis and brainwashing isn't actually my kink, so these are just some ideas I think are interesting relative to game mechanics and other sexy stuff.

Let's reimagine the Harekin Tailor Mansion mission with a focus on hypnosis. Let's say the main objective is on the top floor, but we notice the building has a basement as well. When we try to enter the basement, Luna refuses, stating that she has no interest in going there.

We encounter some hypnosis enemies, and their attacks end up filling up Luna's hypnosis meter to 100, causing her to enter a trance state. While in the trance state, Luna's usual attack action options become unavailable, but she can use an action called Attempt to regain focus (decreases hypnosis meter by 10 points). If the hypnosis meter goes below 50, the trance state will end. While in trance, enemies can use either brainwashing attacks or continue applying hypnosis to extend the trance duration.

A brainwashing attack takes 3 turns to cast, and requires Luna to be in a trance when casting finishes. A successful cast will give Luna a brainwashing debuff and decrease her hypnosis meter by 20 points. In this mission, enemies have access to the following attacks:
  • Apply Hypnosis (same as hypnosis enemies currently use)
  • Apply Hypnosis: Trance Extension (requires trance; +5 hypnosis points, can go above 100)
  • Apply Brainwashing: Desire to undress (requires trance; prioritized if Luna is wearing clothes)
  • Apply Brainwashing: Curious about places (requires trance; prioritized if Luna is naked)
  • Apply Brainwashing: Curious about outfits (requires trance; prioritized if Luna is in the basement)
  • Command: Undress (requires trance, and level 3 of Brainwashing: Desire to undress)
Brainwashing debuffs stack:
  • Brainwashing: Desire to undress
    1. Luna gets an action option to take off her clothes, but when activated she refuses stating how silly it would be to do something like that.
    2. Luna no longer refuses the above action
    3. While Luna is in the trance state, enemies can command her to undress.
  • Brainwashing: Curious about places
    1. Instead of saying she has no interest in entering places such as the basement, she now states that she would like to, but the mission takes priority!
    2. She can now willingly enter places such as the basement.
    3. If she hasn't been to the basement and is in the same room as its entrance, she refuses to take any other exits.
  • Brainwashing: Curious about outfits
    1. Encountering very sus equipment makes Luna blush and wonder what it would be like to wear them, but she still refuses to.
    2. Luna has no inhibitions against putting on very sus equipment and experiencing their effects.
    3. Luna is compelled to put on any equipment she encounters that can be worn.
So the basic idea is: put stuff in the mission environment and action palette that Luna's common sense prevents her to engage with. Then hypnosis leads to a trance state, which enables brainwashing that cancels out Luna's common sense, and eventually inverts it into compulsion.

Some other brainwashing options:
  • Tricking Luna into being unable to recognize enemies as hostile, or seeing illusionary enemies.
  • Tricking Luna into thinking weak enemies are too strong to fight.
  • Confusing Luna about what her real mission objectives are.
  • Seeing imaginary treasure chests everywhere.
  • Seeing enemies as naked girls.
  • Instead of initiating a fight, encountered enemies might make Luna do some random side objective task instead.
  • Luna is able to initiate passionate conversations with random furniture (just kidding).
