I found this bug, as well. In the town of Bastion, you can't exit the magic shop once you've entered, day or night.

squirrel is random, he'll try to get close to any 3 of the 4 main girls. the girl you choose to send to tentacle fucking will never hangout with squirrel.

its rng, so you can save before the evening time when he hangs out with the girls. just restarts if your desired girl is not with the steward
