Abandoned because the dev hasn't posted about the game for 6 months. Considering they only have 8 patrons paying £14 a month it's not exactly a shock.

Some devs believe that should they spend same time, they should succeed.
They lack the representation of just how much money is thrown into promotion
and huge teams of game makers working on a game 24/7 years upon years
before the public even knows what is being made.
Indie developing is a thing, but you still need think tanks and support,
which any dev can get here totally free and totally quality stuff.
Being inactive here and anywhere 4 that matter will get you into limbo.

It IS shocking that idiots keep making games expecting to make bank.
Thousands of games and the majority of them barely make anything. This is not what you do if you want to make money, it's a hobby.
A few get lucky enough to turn it into a career but releasing a demo is never going to bring in the money.

Came back to see what became of this,im not as shocked that it got abandoned as much as how little it progressed AT ALL in all the time it had.

Devs like this are the reason people refuse to back new devs financially. We're all getting sick of supporting dead projects now.

The trust isn't there anymore. It's the reason why my backings went from around 20 to 3. You could wait 6 months to back a project, and still not get an update, and even if you do it may be the last one ever.
