You automatically transition between days after most major events. If you do something and it doesn't go to the next day, just do something else.

Flying the simplest, smallest one-seaters is pretty much like learning to drive on the Periphery! Most people know how to fly these. Flying the bigger ones is where the challenge comes, and you usually need a trained specialist for that. There will be a few little mentions of that in the game.
