There was a news posts two days ago talking about some rework Void was doing on Spacer's model and also some R5.5 screenshots like this one. 
Aw, man.. I was looking forward to that but that's understandable.. Your game, your rules

I kind of don't like this design I think the face should be sharper/more predatory looking, sort of beautiful but also intimidating. She seems like a pudgy housewife (which I don't mind normally), but its a strange look for a alien snake-girl.
The color scheme is also not very appealing, the green/yellowish I associate with sickness. We have many exotic snakes here on earth with many different colors and patterns, I think you have chosen a plain/ugly one for an erotic alien snake-girl, why not choose something more visually appealing. Also the bottom scales (the ones on which she slithers) would look better by being more distinct in color and pattern, you can look at images of real snakes or even better anime lamia girls for more info.
Then there is something that isn't a strictly snake-girl thing. But a lot of your alien designs have these weird skull shapes and fleshy growths instead of hair and this isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I think hair is better since the way a character styles their hair can say a lot more about them than fleshy bumps and lumps. You can still make them look and feel alien by making the hair unusual colors and maybe giving them some high fashion hair styles that we don't see in normal daily life.
And this last one is a very minor and unrelated nitpick but maybe consider giving orcs dark-green nipples and penis head it would look better and is pretty much the standard for orc futa porn.

If next update, we found out he got a head reduction surgery.. we need to remember it's the future, anything can happen.

Void updated some of Spacer's model just like he has been doing with the others. In this case lips, tongue, ass, dick all got a touch up.
Let's just hope it's not too much of a "touch up" eh? I don't know about anyone else, but I always felt the MC was perfectly adorable in just about every way. I mean, there is such a thing as "too much polish" after all...

I think a slimmer body would be more appropriate, as that's how snakes naturally are. .I also agree about the heads of the aliens. Markala, Nitlix is great, and I don't mind such shapes. But I think there are quite a lot of them already. Every alien either has a bald head or those fleshy growths on their heads. The aliens with hair are goblins and orcs, and they simply have to have it. I suspect (VP correct me if I'm wrong) that this shape of heads and lack of hair is to make the aliens look less human, thus more extraterrestrial.
But when I look at this alien
. I can't shake the feeling that you ran out of ideas, because this head resembles Markala's, just with tentacles at the back. Personally, I would like to see an alien with hair. Or with something unconventional on their head, like feathers, I don't know, maybe grass, some plants, something in the style of a forest nymph, fish scales clumped together to form something like braids. Something different.I can't imagine it myself, let alone design it, not to mention creating it. But I believe that our imagination mainly limits us. Once on Discord, I read a similar conversation, and an example of Sarah Kerrigan's worm hair was given there. And I think it's an interesting example. Because her hair is interesting and original. Who else had worm hair besides her?
And I like writing walls of text.
The MC is my main reason playing this game.
Absolutely adorable indeed.
That is not to say that I don't adore the ladies, of course.
Maybe with the shops there could be a barber shop and such to individualize his appearance like hair/color and mani- pedicure, especially when we'll be able to actually dress him.
But maybe aimed to high, man can dream.

Doubt it unless it's something simply cosmetic (as in it won't show during scenes) or reserved for unique scenes. Having to work in outfit variations for individual scenes sounds like a pain in the ass.
Yeah that part I doubt as well.
But there is already a clothing store, where you can try on different outfits (WiP).
So I think it will be used for special events with the ladies, I think there was a mention of Thessa once.
And sissification is definitely on the plan, with all the feminization tools already there.

I half agree about the lamia thing, I feel like snake inspired aliens ought to have sharper features and leaner body types.
Hard disagree about the hair thing for aliens though, like maybe add some alien species with hair but there's something refreshing about the aliens not just being human but with funny skin colors. That's a big reason of what makes the designs in this game special is there seems to be a thing for pretty much everyone. I'm pretty happy for the most part about the design philosophy for this game though, definitely more eclectic than your average AVN.

I didn't say that all aliens should have hair, the way I worded it (or at least tried to) is that the lack of hair isn't a bad thing, but that it isn't the only way to make a truly alien design. You can give them hair but make it a strange color or texture like FizzyMayonnaise mentioned in his post with the example of Kerrigan.
I am not saying the aliens should turn in to simply differently colored humans, I like them looking more exotic as well. My favorite scene in the game is with the stretchers (who happen to be bald lol). I am just saying that it is possible to maintain an alien look even with hair, but at the end of the day its voids creative decision and I am sure we will see many different alien designs (both with hair and without) that will appeal to everyone.
Right now the only thing I hope for is a snake-girl redesign, its the only one that I think is truly bad. I think doing monster girls in 3D is harder than 2D, so it will take a bit of tinkering to get it quite right. I do wonder how the centaur girl will turn out.

Given the fact that it's only supposed to be a half update somewhere more or less half the size of 5.1, (if that's the case) I'd definitely say that it should been well over released by now, AT THE VERY LEAST..!
So hopefully this time; this specific 'SOON,' is the one that really means 'SOONER,' very much 'SOONER' than it does 'LATER!!'
Cause if one thing is for sure, if I see my dude VP post another update on 5.5, that's just only another damn 1 or 2 screenshot teasers with a few other ones, alongside with some side notes of what's to come in SP 6.0 (that's definitely 'later' than 'sooner') sometime after the 5.5.,
