I know, right? Still, I fully understand why the developer would not do it. It would take an immense effort and also change the fetish. The story too would require some serious tweaking. It's the same reason I don't give a male MC option in the Queen of Phalli

I would also prefer femprotag but the developer is for the most part hiding the spacers dick during sex scenes so it's not as big a problem. Also devs should always follow their original idea to not start questioning themselves too much.I know, right? Still, I fully understand why the developer would not do it. Between the space scifi setting, the male protagonist (femboy/twink) and the futa/aliens relationships Star Periphery is amongst a handfull of games doing this mix of genres.
The worse thing that could ever happen is for the game to lose its identity. Luckly Void already said more than once this is never going to happen.

I would be satisfied if we had a protagonist who was male (not femboy) and female. I think we could have both, if the developer wanted to. The way the story and the plot develop is so good that it makes me want to know more and more, not caring that the MC is just a femboy who is there to be sexually dominated by the ladies. The plot throughout the days we spend with Despina's crew is one of the highest points of the game for me, I also confess that part of me wanted the MC to be a little more active in the sex scenes with the ladies for example, in the general context I manage to have a lot of fun and entertainment with the game, you can see the hard work and care of the creator.

Indeed. As much as I would like the option, this is just plain impossible. It would slow down progress to an excruciating grind. No no. Just let the man work his magic as is.

As someone who just got into this, allow me to remind anyone coming across this thread that "by trying to please everyone, you will please no one".
Ultimately the dev should go where the most money is, but I highly doubt that would be a successful endeavor, now that the niche has already been carved.
My best advice would be, if you wanna jump into other things, create a new series specifically for it.
