Animations are being worked on!
Hoping that they won't be weirdly slow and non-impactful like many 3d games. Call me crazy, but it's nice when a character is described as fucking hard in a scene and the animation actually looks and sounds like they are indeed fucking someone hard, instead of barely moving their hips.

Looking forward to animations.

Animations would make this game something even better.

Most likely, the release of a new update will coincide with the New Year...
I'd say that's a healthy estimate, but expect progress updates > a solid time frame. "When it is ready" is probably the safest answer. I can't remember any of R6 - R9 releases being more than 4 months apart, for what that's worth. People have tended to get extremely antsy in the discord 2-4 weeks before the past couple releases came out though.

Void just said to not make assumptions about the time schedule for each updates. :LOL:

Well, 3-4 weeks is just around New Year's Eve, I wouldn't be surprised if Void literally schedules the release of the chapter to coincide with this date, like a New Year's gift for all...

I really hope we will have a scene where the MC is used by both Nitlix and Nyive at the same time. :love:

And I'm really curious to know if our MC will discover who are the other members of the Pyrpheran inner circle and what role they fulfill in the Brothel or on PS-10 in general. :unsure:

Anyone here tried downloading the mac version. Does it load for you guys? (It used to work for me before the rework now I can't)
Hey I had the same problem

To make the application executable:

  1. Open a terminal window (CMD + Space -> terminal);
  2. Using the cd command, navigate to the place where the application is stored: cd <path_to_application>
  3. Run chmod +x <application_file> to make it executable. If it doesn't let you, sudo it:
    sudo chmod +x <application>.

If you need sudo for this, there's s something fishy going on I think. Always make sure to check for quarantine too I'd say and remove it when it's there with xattr.
Also, you can just drag the executable file into the terminal window. For me that works faster than cd-ing to it.

Should be easy to fix

Two things might have gone wrong:
  • the app is quarantined by Gatekeeper because it's from an unknown developer (most likely);
  • the executable inside the app might have lost its execute permission during unzipping.
To check quarantine, start Terminal and type "xattr " without the quotes at the prompt and drag the Starperiphery app into the Terminal window. Terminal will fill out the path for you. Mind there is a space between the command and said path. Hit enter. If you see com.apple.quarantine in the results, the app is quarantined.
To remove the quarantine, type "xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine " and drag the app again into the window. Again, mind the space between the command and the path. Hit enter. Quarantine should now be removed.

To check the second case, you need to look into the contents of the app: right click on Starperiphery app, pick Show package contents. Navigate to /Contents/MacOS/. Inside that folder you'll see a file Starperiphery. That file should be a Unix executable. If it's anything else, it has lost its execute permission.
To fix this, start Terminal and type "chmod a+x " without the quotes at the prompt and drag the file inside the Terminal window. Terminal will fill out the path for you. Again mind there is a space between the command and the path. Hit enter. The file should now be executable.

As a general precaution, make a duplicate of the app first before changing its attributes or permissions.
Addendum: I recommend using TheUnarchiver instead of the build-in archive utility.

So I did both, I didn't have any issues on the "xattr" one but on the other one I dragged the Starperiphery file it's a 83kb document into the terminal only to get "Permission denied", I don't know what's causing this I have changed the read and write part. I'm the administrator. So I have no clue what causes this "Permission denied"

Probably terminal does not have full disk access, check it in settings.

Is the app is in your homefolder (such as Downloads for example), and not in a folder that belongs to the system ?
An administrator is still limited on what he can do outside of his home folder. Granting Full disk access might indeed help here. As last resort, put sudo before the chmod command, as mentioned by Kingtom13 in his post.

If he selects full disk access for terminal and run command in terminal with admin privileges it should work no matter in which folder is app located.which is basically what you stated
