"Knock the door already" and "I came to ask about SCOOL" are 2 red flags right in the first scene!
Put a posting on here for someone to donate their time to your project for editing until this project starts creating revenue from generous Patreons, then you can use a percentage of those funds to pay the existing editor to continue with a story that they would already be familiar with (AND retroactively pay them for the work they have already completed), and ALWAYS use spellcheck when crafting the dialog or translating from what most likely would be an Eastern European dialect, like Ukrainian, to English here.
Smoothing out the characters will also help, using a different blender program, something like UNREAL would be a wise choice, or one similar to it, where the characters can look more humanlike, since they look mighty scary right now, including the MC.
These will undoubtedly help with the flow of the novel.
