Because Stiglet is not feeling the game at the moment and thus is on a break.
That's really sad. This game is basically the only one I'm checking for updates. Stiglet has one good finished game and this is already a big differencial from other devs.

Being a sci-fi game, Stars allow much more freedom for the story and events than The Visit. I'm already impressed by the graphical/models evolution. Hope he catches his mood and keep up with this promising game.

really i thought it was pretty good so far
Actually i think that Stiglet is one of the best developer. I loved The visit and thanks to that i started playing porn games. Currently I don't think I've found games with more sensual renders and scenes, neither Dream of Desire or Being a DIK,really!
But actually he had a bit of problems, the main is probably stress. Hope to come back soon.:cry::cry:

I thought so too... I like it so much that there are many pov scenes and especially that you can speed up the animation

do you know any other games where you can speed up animation speed and have rather pov scenes?

I'm not a pro gamer ahahha, i know very few games and played maybe a ten games but no, any other games with speed up animation :D .But it isn't only the control of speed, the renders are fantastic, especially in this game, the titfuck is so real!!

Probably an unpopular opinion, but I hope the dev rewrites the whole story and characters when they are back from their break. To me, the characters are obviously nice to look at but none of their characteristics match up with the setting of the story. There is like at least an 84 year difference between the player and the ship's crew, and there is a war going on...one which the humans are losing badly, but you'd hardly get that feeling when interacting with any of the characters. It's pretty clear the player character has no motivations (besides trying to get laid), goals, valuable skills, or anything special about them for the story in this setting from their background, so it feels like the player is the least interesting part of this game. There is a character that grew up on asteroid mining colony or something as opposed to Earth and again, with how they are portrayed you'd never know from interacting with them.

At the end of the day it is a porn game, but it's one in which for the current state of the game, I'd personally recommend skipping the dialogue to just look at the scenes.

Not a wise one either, since the game is still in the prologue for all intents and purposes.

What I mentioned in my previous post can only be addressed in the introduction to the characters, not afterwards. So unless a rewrite of the characters happens, then I think the bar has been set for the writing in this game lol. I'm perfectly fine with enjoying the game just for the visuals and not the story, I had just hoped for more than a horndog meets big tits in space.

You are aware that character development is a thing, yes?

Character development after "I see you looking at my tits, tell me what you think about them" in like the first 2 interactions with a character is not something I'd care to read about lmao, I'm not looking for a back and forth so I'm just gonna wait to see what happens in the next update for this game.

What did you expect from a harem-there-are-no-males-but-MC game? Shakespeare?

The funny thing is that it's stated explicitly multiple times throughout the content thus far that there ARE other males that are around lol, in fact to me, a "harem-there-are-no-males-but-MC game" would probably be more up the alley for the plot this game has.

MC is the only man on the spaceship and based on the nature of their mission, there's not exactly going to be more showing up anytime soon.

I understand what u mean. The story didn't get me as well. Sometimes the suspension of disbelief needs to be too high because it's a porngame + sci-fi themed. I don't have a problem with this at all, a sci-fi theme gives Stiglet more freedom to create different events and explanations, but this war mistery was kinda lame (that's the only poor side of this game for me).

Maybe the girls don't display the war circunstances on their faces because this specific ship is not a battle/war ship, so, they are not involved in this war directly. Also, the war is older than all girls, this is reality since they were born thus not enough to make them live depressed around the corners. Finally, they represent hope for humanity as a colonization mission and all of them are volunteers, both determinant for mood.

MC is not the last guy on universe, but I supposed since the beginning that if humanity is losing the war and military forces are mostly male, men are in smaller numbers than ever before. Also, the crew is 100% female in a years-long colonization mission and this is enough to elevate the sexual tension even between them. That's what I translated from all the flirting and overwhelming simpathy, but this could be better explored in dialogs.

I would say that MC's motivation is to be useful for the mission and crew. I don't mind that he is not special in any way yet, this can be explored/developed in the future, even more in a sci-fi game. As for the girls, I don't think they need to be rewritten. They have different reactions to the MC that match their different personalities. The girl who grew up on an asteroid is visibly more naive than the others (she thinks you're looking to her crucifix, she accepts that the explosion accident was her fault, she gets blushed when you find her vibrator). I would make just some minor text changes and additions to the war plot and the fact that little explanation is given to the MC, even after they check his past records. To avoid long dialogs and considering MC was a military, it could be a document/relatory given by the captain with some pics and a summary. This could be a good way to present more information about the world. Players who don't care can skip it entirely.

We can also surmise (speculation incoming) that MC also plays a role in bringing 'enemy' AI onto the ship from his suit which kept him alive all those years. So, he's not just a useless fuck pole from a narrative standpoint.

I wonder if the sandbox format of the game is too much for these devs to handle, seems like most abandoned/on hold games are sandbox, I think most of this guys get too ambitious after having a successful game and get to the balls with a more complex project, that's when they find out this is really a lot of work to do.

Yeah that may very well be a thing.

If its any consolation siglet, Im sure your fans would be happy if you simply took most of the ideas you had for this game and simply reformatted them in the same VN style as The Visit and simply worked on your sexy scenarios instead of worrying about implementing a freeform sandbox style of game.

sandbox is the reason why game is interesting to play. Not just point click and waiting for scenes.
