but they get medals ?They all die at the end.
That's what I've been saying... it's especially become egregious on the NTR path, where there's no point in showing the MC watching his wife cheat on him when he doesn't even react to it.The game is good, but without an inner monolog to know what the MC is thinking it leaves you confused, he's just supposed to wath his wife fuck that asshole and not say anything, just let her have a " rematch " it's too much, if he is a cuck you don't know that either, since you don't see what he's thinking
The NTR path has effectively finished, because you either call it out and reach an endgame with (presumably) separation, or you call it out and say you like it and it becomes the NTS path. The only thing is there was the inexplicable choice to not call it out, and apparently never mention it again, as if you've actually not caught her doing anything she shouldn't...That's what I've been saying... it's especially become egregious on the NTR path, where there's no point in showing the MC watching his wife cheat on him when he doesn't even react to it.
Yeah that's why it doesn't make sense. You either let go or become a cuck after finding out.The NTR path has effectively finished, because you either call it out and reach an endgame with (presumably) separation, or you call it out and say you like it and it becomes the NTS path. The only way it would make some sort of sense (and even then maybe only at a stretch) is with that inner monologue a few people have said is needed. Comments showing he has decided to build evidence for a divorce case or a way to catch her that doesn't involve disclosing the use of the cameras (but that bit has been covered with not hanging up the video call during the hurricane shenanigans). With that though, there would only be so much you could take because he would need to show hurt and/or anger all the time, while being nicey-nicey in talking to her, and it wouldn't feel right.Yeah that's why it doesn't make sense. That's my gripe. The game over sucks, because why even make a path that "logically" leads to a game over so early? Game Overs are bad design, period. The NTR path has effectively finished, because you either call it out and reach an endgame with (presumably) separation, or you call it out and say you like it and it becomes the NTS path. True, but the obvious solution would be to add a more neutral-sounding dialogue with her - but even then, you don't have to cut out the "nice" dialogue (shared with the NTS/Loyal paths) entirely, just a few a different conversations for the NTRed MC who is planning revenge. The only way it would make some sort of sense (and even then maybe only at a stretch) is with that inner monologue a few people have said is needed. Just a random note on this bit, you're talking about a normal game here. The way this game is put together is that the dialogue is all in the renders as well, so rather than just a quick dialogue change, it's a full-on render change that would mean changing other renders as well if the number of lines of text is different as the following text bubbles will be moved up or down. (Using "renders" here in the general "image" sense, since the text will actually be put together in Photoshop or something). It's really not that difficult to at least add some modicum of reaction to the MC on the NTR path that makes the path actual NTR - especially because it would be adding/changing dialogue, which is considerably easier than adding new renders for it.

The script file that should be easy to edit is literally just the code for choices, and to call the images and events/transitions etc. That's also why it's basically impossible to translate this game. The (far-too) similar game A Perfect Couple looks pretty similar in design, but the text is done through the script file like a regular game would be, so I presume here it's just a case of what the dev knows/doesn't know about the programming side of it. Presumably that way would be a lot quicker for the dev too.You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
I'm not seeing anything to suggest it's doomed, but it could be a fair bit more efficient and accessible, and the actual game content could have some changes (but that comes into subjective territory). The dev is consistent, provides updates on Patreon between releases, and shows no sign of letting up. It just comes down to whether people continue enjoying what she's putting out, and there will always be a range of "yes and no" to that for any game.Oh, damn, I did not know this.
Yeah, this makes even smaller variations in dialogue time-consuming...
I guess I am glad I am not supporting the game anymore. It's doomed.
