I just finished both routes for this game. Bravo, LadyLana.

This is how an NTR/NTS VN should be done, with respect to different tastes

And the models were amazing. I wish there were more images of them.

I enjoy how there's NTR even in the lead up to NTS. I will def be throwing money at your Patreon once I've got some cash freed up. Looking forward to more of your work!

Nope.

NTR was not done well at all, and I can't stand idly by while false praises are given. This isn't even up to personal taste - the NTR in this game is severly underdeveloped.

First, you are given the option to confront the wife early on, which leads to a Game Over - a big no no in choice-driven games.
Secondly, the husband is relegated to a mute cuck in the NTR route, watching as his wife cheats on him but never actually commenting on ANY of the cheating he is witnessing. There was no explanation as to why he is just watching and not saying/doing anything, like in an effort to get revenge (gathering evidence for a divorce). After numerous content updates of watching like a cuck, you are once again presented with 2 options:
  1. IGNORING everything and continuing your married life like nothing ever happened. :WaitWhat::WaitWhat::WaitWhat:
  2. CONFRONTING the wife and, obviously, getting the "bad" ending.
Guess what we don't get with either of these? No short epilogue showing the aftermath of each of those choices, let alone a revenge ending for the MC to justify his passiveness.

NTS is decent, but the NTR was terrible.

Dude, I know that you have issues with this game, but it doesn't mean that others aren't allowed to have enjoyed it. It's not "false praises", it's just an opinion that you disagree with.

Once again, nope.

He enjoyed the cuckolding experience, but saying you enjoyed the NTR experience is false because there was none in the game. I'm not devaluing his enjoyment of the game, just clarifying that calling the NTR in this game as "great" is giving praise to the wrong label.

The game's stupid ending turned me off so much that I stopped supporting LadyLana on Patreon and stopped following his games.

No, you're putting your thoughts onto someone else. Someone can enjoy something that you don't, and even that you find massively flawed. You have no right to say that someone is wrong in their opinion, and it's as simple as that.

Again, you are not understanding.

He enjoyed the "NTR" experience, but in reality, it was a form of cuckolding - not NTR, regardless of what the developer intended to portray. His feelings don't change, and they are valid. I'm simply urging people to call a spade a spade.

I'm understanding fine. He (or she, since the user name starts with "Lady") said "I enjoy how there's NTR even in the lead up to NTS", which is perfectly valid. The rest of it is you putting words and opinions into someone else's mouth.

you just cant comprehent other people having a diffrent opinion do you ?
there most defenitly was a NTR experience in this game lol While i also miss a explanation on why he didnt comment or we get to see a internal dialouge i also really likeed that there was non because i like NTR type A better than all else ( cheating willingly without MC knowing) in that case you just have to come up with something your self on why the mc didnt react.

I am quite literally not putting any words into anybody's mouth. I don't mind that he enjoyed the game, just that we're clear there was little-to-none actual NTR in the game.

If you have to fill in the gaps of the story, it's not a good story. And the existence of gaps themselves is self-incriminating.

Look, just because you need every detail spoonfed doesn’t mean it’s a bad story. I loved it and so do tons of others here hence the good rating... Ever heard of Inception? That spinning top left everyone’s head spinning, and it’s a masterpiece. Or The Last of Us Joel’s shady choice at the end? No explanation, yet it’s gut-punchingly brilliant. Gaps aren’t flaws they’re what make stories stick, forcing you to think. If you can’t handle that, maybe stick to fairy tales.

The "gap" in Inception works because it turns the whole ending upside down - makes you doubt if what you got was the truth; the gap in Stay Online's NTR path doesn't work when the husband clearly "forgives" his wife and acts like nothing happened.

Also, the ending of TLOU was not a "gap" - it was made pretty clear that Joel made the selfish choice, because he understood the world was fucked anyway; no point in losing the "daughter" he found for a thin chance of hope.

Game was pretty unusual, but I liked it overall. After reading the argument above, I still don’t get the difference between NTR and NTS lol. Can someone explain?

Best explanation for NTR and NTS I've ever heard.
I won't argue, it's clear as day and night. I'd like for there to be an equally clear distinction between sharing and cucking, to me the latter, though nominally NTS, is closer to NTR than sharing. I'm disappointed that a majority of sharing/swinging games present the MC as a passive "receiver", one who enjoys what he's given and shows no interest or even the ability to influence the course of things. That's what I've seen some call "taking the back seat". It may seem like a minor detail to others, but to me a passive MC is more defining of a genre even than whatever the FLI does - there's all sorts of "types" of NTR according to how the FLI sees it, but nobody cares about distinguishing how the MC deals with it, as the assumption is that the girl won't cheat if the MC isn't a loser to begin with. It's the old alpha/beta trope in the back of the writer's mind, even if it's not explicitly written in.

I'd risk that I'd be less likely to enjoy a "normal cuckold" story, where the MC consensually lets the wife do whatever she wants and just enjoys it passively, than one where the wife/girlfriend actually cheats, thinking she or the "bull" have control, but the MC unfalteringly turns the tables and pushes the rival out of the picture, winning back her loyalty - even if they agree on further sharing. It's all about the MC being both confident and active.
