Hello everyone!
Just a few days left until the release of Episode 4.0, so it’s time to share the changelog – here’s what’s new and what you can expect.

It’s been 2 months since our last update, and during that time, we’ve created:

  • Nearly 2,500 new renders
  • A ton of new animations
Not to brag, but getting this much done in just over two months (since Episode 3.2 update on October 7th) is a fantastic achievement in my opinion. This was only possible thanks to your support, which allowed me to take unpaid leave from my firefighting job. Starting in January, things will go back to normal, but I’ll keep working hard to bring you as much content as possible, as quickly as I can.

Before we move on, I want to address one thing. Someone suggested that going back to work will slow down the game’s development, making it impossible to deliver the full game by 2026. Here’s the truth: my unpaid leave was an extra boost that sped up development. This wasn’t part of the original plan because I didn’t expect such incredible financial support. So, while January will mean a return to the regular pace, we’re still on track – we’re not slowing down.

Now, about the update itself:

  • It includes more animations than the last few updates combined, and they’re quite complex. These aren’t 1-second loops – every animation is made of 200-300 frames, lasting 6-10 seconds, with sounds recorded by real people.
  • This update is over twice the size of the previous one. However, it’s not twice as long – it’s more content-rich, giving you more choices and options. It will also tie together many of your earlier decisions.

We’ve also added and improved tons of smaller things that I might have forgotten to mention (probably because they weren’t as big). If I remember anything, I’ll let you know – or maybe I’ll keep it as a surprise.

We’ve translated the game into Polish, which will be available later on (around December 23-24), because we have to polish (hehe) the language a little. Along the new language we will release another cool thing: Steam trading cards, including badges, backgrounds, and emoticons for your profiles. These will launch alongside the Polish translation – fingers crossed we can get it done on time!

Sounds pretty awesome, look forward to it. Also, no need to engage with some of these knuckleheads on the forum. They likely don’t sub and, obviously, are clueless in regards to the process and resources needed to execute a quality VN.

You're not the only one. I prefer small to medium breasts. Not a fan of big breasts or overblown balloons. Riley is one of the few women I like with breasts that size. I also like that SoD has some variety at least.

Long time ago, two group of people started to argue for a non-sense matter; Team Dean and Team Anti-Dean. Conflict between them became so harsh that lots of things had written and lots of battles happend. While this battle was going on, a wise man appeared. Wise man explained them to situation and told them it's okay to have different ideas and preferences. "It's normal to argue about these things..." wise man said "... but never forget to be respectful to each other, that is the whole point of being a human, a good person." he continued. People agree with him and everything solved, then wise man said the last sentence that everyone will always remember: "Maybe, the Steps of Debauchrey was the friends we made along the way."

How could I miss such a great game for so long? Yesterday I downloaded it and then I played it to the end. I like that she gradually brings out her other side. Which was probably always within her. The pace for that is also good made for her.

E: Will there be a Elijah and Riley Event on the Update?
