I'm lost.
I never said it was bad, I'm just wondering what will happen in the future. I just gave my opinion. You have a amazing game with great characters and personally I would like to be able to keep seeing all scenes because of that. But I understand that not everybody wants that or that might not be the intension of the game/story. So I was just wondering about that.

Everybody that plays your game will have a different opinion. Some might like it or not. Or like me, they want to see as much as possible in one run while others dont mind playing it multiple times. Just keep on creating this amazing game how you want it.

Like Alea iacta est said, you shouldn't take it personally. For me, i can't even fathom the hobo fucking kink. Hell, most people won't give a cent to a real hobo yet they fantasize about their wife or FMC fucking one, it's crazy to me. But we all have different kink or preferences. IMHO, you should just take notes if someone gives an idea that you like, but just do your thing and so far it worked out great, the game is really good.
Personally, i don't really like the cuckold thing, i find it weird & awkward but the cheating path works for me.
Again great game, renders are beautiful, animations are amazing, and story is interesting enough. You and your team did an awesome job, you should be proud.
BTW WHEN MORE GLORYHOLE ? (kidding, but i felt it went great with you shield meme xD)

To give another opinion, I like that we got to choose how and with who Riley escalates her "debauchery" in this episode, however in an ideal world I would have preferred an "all of the above" option. If not in the same evening (because that may be a bit much narratively), maybe the art plaza could have happened to be around a couple more nights.

And the choice you make first can still have an impact on which main "route" you're on, but as the other comment said up to now we'd been able to follow those 3 paths equally and this seems like quite a sudden hard fork to have.

People complaining about the size, or how long it takes for updates, obviously don't have a clue how these things work. Most complaining most likely haven't contributed to help funding the work either lol Updates are coming a lot faster than most other VN's, Fooxied is actually active and communicates here on f95, and isn't milking everyone for years at a time like some others are *coughAWAMcough*

Rendering takes a long while, coming up with an engaging story line takes a while, even just doing the translations (which is probably the easiest part) takes a long awhile in itself.

This is by far the best VN available, Riley is super hot, the story is progressing perfectly, and Fooxied is doing a great job of keeping everyone happy and updated. Everyone just needs a little patience and understanding, these things don't happen overnight.
For me, creating a scene, and correcting errors in those scenes as well as updating them etc... takes far longer than the actual renders do. Sometimes Daz's slow loading times is worse than my own render times.

I have a pet project, a VN I have worked on which I am uncertain that I will ever release it. I have been updating the characters from Genesis 3 to Genesis 8 and using knowledge I have learned (and newer hardware) to do better scenes. It took me hours just to update two or three scenes one day. And a lack of financial support means it takes longer if you have to work to bring in an income.

I always challenge people to come up with just a short story of some sort, post it online here when you're done, and take note at how long it takes you, how many scenes you can create that are of decent quality with an interesting story, per day. Then add up the thousands upon thousands of scenes it takes to do a visual novel, plus all the programming, debugging (because we make errors) and all other aspects of it.

It is always the same. In the AWAM Forum there are so many who bad mouth the game but still they will play it. Or also in the Her Desire Forum when someone did not like the Update etc.

Strange error. I would try reinstalling your game, or checking where you downloaded it from as screens.rpy has NO code like that in it at all, no loops ("Possible infinite loop") at all. That area of screens.rpy is a simple style statement...

...no loops there what so ever, just a simple statement, so your download sounds corrupted (it will all be in compressed RPA files when you run it). If you grabbed someone else's compressed version, than maybe you should take the time and download the full version.

My dude, you are the dev. You are the tale weaver. It's what you have made thus far that has created the fan following for this game.
Stick to what your original vision is. Personally, I'm a fan of how much variation and agency you have given to the player. Even if a lot of kinks aren't my thing, I respect your effort all the same for there are others who love that kink.

All in all, don't let people who want what floats their boat, poke holes in yours. Keep doing your thing. The true fans will stay with you through it all. Just don't overwhelm yourself. In the end, Quality > Quantity.

You want to strike a balance. Too many paths will come back to bite you in the ass later as far as coding and how long updates take. And of course, most are not huge fans of kinetic novels (which are just stories with no choices).

Personally, I always like just a couple choices, enough to have a second playthrough viable. I start getting annoyed when i discover a pile of content I missed because I forgot to play with her nipples or whatever foolishness.

Keep it simple, have a few paths, not a dozen, and not only will people be happier, your work will be easier and updates will be faster. And yeah, choices that matter, which effect the flow of the story are important.

In my own VN (which I have never released, but I have programmed games in the past). I have the whole "good wife" versus "bad wife" scenario, both with plusses and minuses. Basically, two paths which make it interesting and replayable at least once. Games like Our Red String have so many paths and choices, it honestly gets annoying and the updates are taking a VERY long time as you have to take into account ALL those choices and paths and write a story and renders for each one.

I just started playing this and so far I like it.
