BIG Fan of your work and bought your Game - of course - on Steam!
Looking forward to the DLC as well.

Regarding the last Update:
I also found it a little underwhelming tbh!

I think it would have been better received if some little things would have been done as well - f.w. the dancing Level in the Bar raised etc.

One other thing I´m really looking forward to would be to some "TEXT changes" - because its anoying that People often say the same things several times!

For example the School janitor. If he doesn´t have something new to say he will tell always the same old "shit"!

It would be better to let him then say f.e. : " I can´t talk now I have to finish cleaning the floor." Or something similar. This would make much more sense than to tell for the 50th time whats going on at his home.

Where do I buy the Party VR games parts 1 and 3? Rileys computer only lists the part 2 I cant buy it from there?

In the poker party scene what happened to the $100 that Riley supposedly sells her panties for, on one of the two routes? And why does Richard only pay her $50, if she accepts payment, when the usual payment is now $70? Bearing in mind, she pretty much helps him to clean up and win hundreds of dollars on one of the routes, you would think he'd be more on the generous side, and at least give the usual payment? Or did the Dev just forget, as he periodically does, like when he recently forgot about Riley telling Mike earlier in the game that she was cleaning Richard's apartment?

Also what happened to the recent payment for the latest stream, that Elijah promised Riley? I guess the Dev forgot about that as well? I mean if he doesn't ultimately want to pay, so Riley doesn't end up with too much money, why mention it at all?

Well I hope, most of that $800 that Richard/X donated to the stream, will find it's way into Riley's bank account in the next update.

As for the panties, you're wrong. On the route where she helps Richard to win, she sells her panties to Alfred as a consolation prize. Since Richard has cleaned up, and the game is over, why would she need the money to buy more chips? It's clear (on this route at least) she intended to keep the money, or at least that's what the dialogue currently suggests.

Initially, when Richard loses all his money, Riley suggests that since he's providing the entertainment ( her), James and Alfred should give him 20 dollars each, so he can buy back into the game. Selling the panties occurs later, and yes, on the route where she teases Richard what you say is correct. But on the other where she helps him, Alfred buys the panties and then him and James go home.

Episode 5.0 Post-Release Update + Christmas DLC

Hi everyone!

A few days have passed since the release of episode 5.0, so it’s time for a little recap. Usually, I don’t enjoy the first few days after an update because people write opinions right away. I get lots of messages saying the update was “short” or that people are disappointed. But I also got many messages saying you liked it, which makes me really happy, so it's quite a rollercoaster.

I know SoD has both fans and haters, and that’s totally fine—it’s a genre that not everyone will like. I also like to be a bit sarcastic and unprofessional sometimes, so let’s just say we’re even :D

If I could complain about something, it’s that people still think the updates are “short” just because we are undedicated or lazy. I’ve been spending an average of 300 hours a month on the project for the last three years, even working on Sundays, because I love what I do. Making renders and the whole game setup takes a lot of time, and it can’t be rushed without losing quality. (Yes, we’re actively looking for new artists, but haven’t found anyone yet.) I repeat this often because I really hope people understand it eventually.

Still, I’m happy to see how SoD has grown and how many fans it has. I’ll do my best to keep it that way.

As you know, around mid-December—tentatively December 12—we’ll release a new Christmas DLC called “

” We’re still working on it, but we’re doing everything to finish it before the holidays. You can already add it to your wishlist! In future posts, I’ll slowly reveal little secrets about it and share some renders.

My guess is, most of the people who complain about short updates, are those who skip a lot of the content, so they can just view the sex scenes. Personally, I thought this was a reasonable sized update, and I don't get these people who think it was 'short'.

I think I've said it before, but this is one of my 5 favourite games on this site, and I just love the way Riley is developing inexorably into a slut goddess and I'm excited for the future. Great to see Richard finally get some action, and Elijah getting to fuck Riley. I've loved the whole Mr X Mystery and having Riley think it was Elijah was brilliant (even though I guessed it was Richard way back, when Ivy told Riley, that he'd suddenly become a regular visitor at the Sex Boutique, shortly after Riley moved to the city). The final photoshoot/Elijah fuck scene, the Poker Party scene, the Riley/Dean/Madison threesome and the cut scene with Jake, where we get a glimpse of his future plans for Riley, all made this a memorable update as far as I'm concerned.
