Imagine a platform where you pay for a game once, and every future update is free — with no need to download the entire game again, only the update itself.

That sounds crazy. I doubt that kind of platform will gain Steam.
Bob69 posts the update only patches. Here is the one for 5.0, but I don't think this is the most recent version with bugfixes.

How much will the Christmas DLC cost?
About the same as the bonus or more?
I'm not sure what is causing the problem for you. If I recall I tend to try it during the weekend. I wish I could be more help.

Did you buy everything possible (excluding collectables) from the boutique and laptop? Also did you try it both during weekend and weekdays? I know you said you did it for a week, but it's quite easy to miss a day.

I noticed something odd with the shopping on the Laptop. I purchased the mirror several scenes ago and it became available in the store again. It hasn't affected the game play as of yet.

Yeah. nah. Not working for me. "Play the update and then when you're done"...well...I'm not done until I trigger that scene, am I? lol
I can't get "the two dudes drinking booze" to happen. Everything is just the same repeated scenes from working, and school.
And There is no open scene in the replay section that asks me which route I want to choose.
EDIT: After scrolling through a couple of weeks, it finally triggered. I don't know what I did differently, if anything at all...may be bugged.
But, I just went to clean for the neighbors and it finally triggered.

Episode 5.0 Post-Release Update + Christmas DLC
Hi everyone!
A few days have passed since the release of episode 5.0, so it’s time for a little recap. Usually, I don’t enjoy the first few days after an update because people write opinions right away. I get lots of messages saying the update was “short” or that people are disappointed. But I also got many messages saying you liked it, which makes me really happy, so it's quite a rollercoaster.
I know SoD has both fans and haters, and that’s totally fine—it’s a genre that not everyone will like. I also like to be a bit sarcastic and unprofessional sometimes, so let’s just say we’re even
If I could complain about something, it’s that people still think the updates are “short” just because we are undedicated or lazy. I’ve been spending an average of 300 hours a month on the project for the last three years, even working on Sundays, because I love what I do. Making renders and the whole game setup takes a lot of time, and it can’t be rushed without losing quality. (Yes, we’re actively looking for new artists, but haven’t found anyone yet.) I repeat this often because I really hope people understand it eventually.
Still, I’m happy to see how SoD has grown and how many fans it has. I’ll do my best to keep it that way.
As you know, around mid-December—tentatively December 12—we’ll release a new Christmas DLC called “You must be registered to see the links” We’re still working on it, but we’re doing everything to finish it before the holidays. You can already add it to your wishlist! In future posts, I’ll slowly reveal little secrets about it and share some renders.

Their wallpapers look good, but working on actual scenes are something else unfortunately.
I don't want to sound rude, but I tried working with several artists whose wallpapers looked much better than mine, and unfortunately the scenes they created were much worse.

The best updates are this version. I liked the updates and the previous updates were also good. And how much will you set the price for the DLC? I mean, I might not have enough money for my Steam wallet and I'll have to figure out what to buy from you for the DLC.
When Riley buys the first outfit for the Bar, she tells Ivy it's not her usual style. But if you compare it with what she already wears...short skirts with relatively low cut crop tops and short shorts with the same...how is that any different? She wears a pair of short shorts and a low cut crop top, when she goes to buy it, which reveals as much flesh as the new dress, so why would she say it wasn't her usual style? When she meets Wesley and Jay in the Bar for the first time, she's wearing an equally short skirt, with an even more low cut crop top, so once again , why would she say it wasn't her usual style? The dress she subsequently buys ( though very sexy) is actually longer than some of her existing skirts and less low cut than most of her tops, so that statement doesn't really make a lot of sense. And even her first outfit for college, a leather mini skirt, teamed with thigh length stiletto heeled boots, is not exactly the outfit of someone who doesn't know that she's sexy and good-looking.
From the very beginning, Riley comes across as being sexually confident. She knows she's good-looking and has no qualms about showing off her body, albeit in a not overly slutty way. So I don't know whether the Dev is putting this is in, to make us believe Riley is not as confident, as her dress sense would suggest? But if so, I'm not convinced. We know she's going to become a really naughty, slutty girl as the game develops. I think she always knew this deep down?
