Has anybody figured out how to get this to run smoothly on joiplay yet?

I'm a year late so I'm sorry if you don't care about this anymore and I'm bothering you, but for anyone else who comes across this issue:
Go to Joiplay settings, scroll down to RPG settings, and turn on 'Path Cache' (Index all files with lowercase paths.) This fixed the stuttering when taking damage for me.

I also got this patch but cannot confirm whether or not it was necessary. If the above doesn't work, try getting it too, I guess.
