You definitely have comprehension issues, so, let's try again, and if you don't get it, I'll give up : a version upgrade from 0.99 is not necessarily 1.0, you can go 0.100, 0.101, and so on. If the developer decides that 1.0 is the complete release (which is not necessarily the case), it may happen whenever he decides to do so, and it is very unlikely that he planned exactly 100 minor versions until he reaches that point. Minor versions just stack until the dev decides he is done, if he does not abandon the project beforehand.

this game is very good, but the progression system is one of the worst I've ever played, it's always a challenge to find out how to progress, the author will never fix it anyway, you really need an internal mod to the game that lists the objectives and what to do to unlock the scenes.

Agree 100% How you get to have sex with your lawyer is driving me crazy.

Patches just fix bugs
Minor adds features
Major introduce breaking changes or are just a very big update. Or represent a very important state of the application. Like release. So you'd release 1.0.0 but you'd probably patch after that, so 1.0.12 is something I'd expect to see.

Not played the game in a few updates, but in order to fuck the lawyer all you have to do is work for her and then keep asking for extra like the HJ to BJ etc. Eventually she will agree to meet at the motel but make sure you have the key for the spare room.

He's right about your understanding of versioning numbers.

The current major release is 0.52. The version is 0.52.1, since the .1 is an update of 0.52 that includes bugfixes.
IF this game goes on for another 48 releases (not including bugfixes) then you're correct about how long, but not why. For all you or any of us know, there may only be another 8 or 15 releases until the game is done, which would make it version "1.0" or "1.023.987c"
At the same time, there could easily be 96 more releases, and then it could be 0.148.01. It could just as easily be 0.1.48 or 1.48 too, since there's no universal standard of versioning systems.

Hell, it could even just end at version 0.55.1 because the dev decides that's where it ends. At that point it'll either be "0.55.1" or "1.0"/"1.01" etc.

Work for her? I've been going to her little parties with the cop for ages but she's never asked me to work for her. She's the one that works for me.
