Can someone please actually POST the codes? I've tried several, but none have worked. And just repeating that "all the codes are there" isn't helping any of us.

It's about compression. The more you compress an image, the more you lose quality over file size. There are compromises where you can compress a file size a lot with a bit of loss.

As an analogy, the difference between 100% quality and 95% quality in this game is kind of like the difference between 4K video and 1080p HD video. Not precisely, but hopefully you get the idea...

@ Wildman Dev suggestions to improve the laptop's show_pic screen:
currently if the user hides the interface with H key (or middle mouse etc) the show_pic screen is hidden
you can block the related keys like this:
you can also add left/right keys to set prev/next pic:
the default keymap values are defined in "renpy -> common -> 00keymap.rpy"
it's either one key or a list of keys (as keysym str)
for instance this also set prev/next pic with the mouse wheel as well (reusing input_left/right values first):
if you want to preset multiple keys into a var, you should probably use a modifiable list [] rather than a static tuple () as i do here, so you'll have the option to add/remove element on the fly

Day 20 Progress Report #2

Hello there.
I'm here to make the second progress report for Day 20; may the Camila preview render find you well.
As of this writing, Day 20 is roughly 70% complete.
With Elysium content included, there are around 25 scenes in total for Day 20. For comparison, Day 19 pt2 has around 21 scenes.
Day 20 also has the most animations of any update, and it's not particularly close. I posted an animation quality poll early after Day 19 pt2's release - I've been trying to improve the game's animation quality, and I think I've succeeded, hopefully you'll feel the same way.
The update itself is coming along nicely. The animations are done. The scene rendering is about 80-85% done—all that's left beyond finishing the rest of the renders is the laptop stuff, the day writing, and coding/playtesting for release.
For now, my window for release is July, and I'm confident that will be the month, though I'm not officially giving any specific release date.
This will have been the longest length between updates, and believe me, that's frustrating for me, too, but I promise the wait will be worth it.
As I said in my last progress report, Day 20 is the most integral day in the game. Up to this point, if there's one update above all the others you should be excited for, it's this one. Big things are going down!
My next (and likely final) Day 20 progress update will be in early June - I will have a better grasp on the official release window by that point.
For those that are supporting during the off months, I genuinely appreciate it. You guys keep me focused and motivated.

my point is: DEGRADING a LI from mid-game without any warnings/options/choices to avoid it is really BAFFLING you won't find a single popular game that pulls this kind of LONG-RUN TRAP

I don't even like Tiffany, but I'll give you props for a very thorough and well-constructed rant.
I like her much more than the migraine inducing Sasha and Gigi though, and agree that she, like most every other girl in the game, deserves some choices on how their romance should go. Personally, I'd rather have the option to ignore her over abusing her.

To be fair, the whole rivalry of MC and Tiffany is absurd to begin with, stemmed from the failed prank on Camilla, orchestrated by Tiffany herself, and even seen through by Camilla, thus liberating the MC of the accusation of him being the one who thought of the prank, furthermore, the way MC is so deadass pathetic, and outright stupid on some occasions is just... meh.I don't even like Tiffany, but I'll give you props for a very thorough and well-constructed rant.

Is good that there are characters with real life struggles, like Lira, or Umiko, but indeed, there are some characters that are quite frankly, annoying, like Sasha with her clown-like attitude, or Gigi, with her hard ro get demeanor.... anyways...
The game has its good points, however, the MC should be less pathetic and more assertive, the MC has its moments of brilliance, where it feels very humane, empathetic and caring, whereas there are parts that are idiotic and simply breaks the character into an absurd simp that only wants to get laid, period.

So... let's get to some points:
It's not like the MC is abusing, deceiving and taking advantage of a totally innocent and inexperienced person (like a Lira, for example)...
Tiffany has been acting like a "bratty" since day 1. Not only with the MC, but also with the most dominant character on the ship, Camila. So, from my point of view, it's clear that what Tiffany is looking for is NOT a "boyfriend" or "pure love" (like an Ariel, for example)... What Tiffany is looking for is to be disciplined, to be dominated, in a way, to the point of being humiliated. It's actually a more normal fetish than many people imagine.
I understand that many people consider Tiffany their favorite and, if the game offered the option, they would follow her path alone (although that's not what the game is about). We don't know much about Tiffany's past. This preference of hers may have an explanation in the past (daddy issues?) or it may simply be a personal preference. You need to understand that this exists. Like it or not.
At no point was it shown that Tiffany was deeply sad and/or feeling humiliated by everything that happened and how it happened. On the contrary. From what was shown, it seems that she was satisfied with everything, as if she had achieved her goal, something like "finally the MC reacted and did what I wanted/needed."
