After this update I immediately thought Gigi was a synth, but.......she probably isnt. I think all is misdirection. The culprit is the random ass drone. Why? Because. Mystery solved!

If we were talking about a sane and rational person, your arguments would be fine. However we are talking about Miranda, a very delusional and self-obsessed woman. Like someone on Steam said: She is way too self-obsessed to accept her not being the face on all of the Echo units. She doesn't even seem to see that her plan is beyond insane and a terrible idea, even without her own son being in danger multiple times: on earth with the procedure of attaching Paige to his brain and on Elysium getting a big ass target on his back.

Imo the chance of Ishani indeed being the culprit is higher than Verona getting Gigi's face, and I'm pretty sure Ishani working for "the bad guys" (I doubt they're worse than Miranda after D20's flashback tbh) is a red herring.

Gigi being an Echo doesn't preclude Ishani also being the culprit. Gigi can be an Echo and doesn't look the same as the others for the reasons I listed. It could be that the Echos are all benign and meant to help support MC and are not part of a Synthstar plot to kidnap him/Paige for nefarious (or maybe not as nefarious as Miranda's) purposes. For the record I'm not convinced all that much that Gigi is an Echo, but it's a fun thought experiment to explore for me. If we can have the shocking Skylar twist in this day's episode that doesn't mean there won't be an equally surprising on on day 21 for Gigi's nature.

Spoiler your comments about the current release, please. A lot of people haven't played through yet.

Spoken like a female (or a sensitive male)...

It's not about being a "alpha bro." It's about taking everything you just said about the affect that this revelation would have on Skylar and being the rock that she can lean on at that moment. You can go and cry in the shower with Paige and deal with your emotions later. But at that moment, you need to be strong for the woman you love. Instead he makes it about himself (he even acknowledges this), and she ends up consoling him.

And no need to feel sorry for anyone on my end. My wife and daughters are very proud to have a strong man/father to lean on (though I'm guessing you would probably call it "toxic masculinity").
So... someone in PTSD shock (like the MC) is just being a wimp, rather than a John Wayne-esque Marlboro Man, like yourself??

If he was experiencing PTSD and incapable of controlling his emotions in that moment, why even talk to her? Why not wait until the next day, and give yourself time to process? I'm not saying that what he experienced should not have an affect on him emotionally. I'm saying that his emotional trauma has to take a backseat to hers.

It's about being an emotional rock and a strong shoulder to lean on for the woman that you love at a time where she needs it the most. If you are incapable of understanding that, then that's fine (I understand that "modern men" are more emotionally fragile), but there is no need to take personal snipes at me. I'm guessing that most of you have never had to support a woman through a devastating emotional experience.

Fair point, and I apologize for being snarky. I get what you're saying, and ideally, that's how it would play out.

I'd say this is a case of contrasting points of view, and maybe we just need to agree to disagree.

Peace.

I think the major decision in day 21 will be either follow Miranda's will to rule Elysium or MC follow in own path to just enjoy the harem he build.
That would be nice, but if we only get 1 major decision on day 21 another good contender imo is if we decide to give the culprit to Pandora or not, no matter who the real culprit is (it's still possible it's one of the Echo units or Miranda).

I think it is possible.

I think the crew turns on Pandora before she arrives

I think this fits. No need to go back on the reveal. MC will chat to culprit early and she could express regret and wanna be team harem.

When Pandora arrives she wants to kill culprit but MC is torn. Maybe MC steals Pandoras lightsaber or whatever and has to make a choice. Whether to keep the gang together and go against Pandora or yeet the traitor out of an airlock and replace her.

I feel like Ishani is a red herring. It was always TOO obvious for her to be the culprit, for her to actually be the culprit. I think that she is going to work for Sythnstar, but have no idea what's actually going on.

Skylar has made too many references of not trusting Pandora to be ignored. I think Pandora is responsible for everything that is taking place. The fact that she is getting there so quickly is hella suspicious.

Not only is she too obvious, but I've got the feeling that her speech in the cafetaria was honest.

Talking about Ishani, could it be that the box in her room with "broken parts" could be where one or more Echo units are being stored in? I doubt they need cryo sleep like humans do.

The Echos are in cyro. This was explicated stated (Cery, I think, or it might have been the other one that was sleeping with Miranda). Treating them any different from humans could tip them off that they are not human

Not necessarily. they could just be put in cryo for transport and are reactivated again on Pandora. We also shouldn't believe the other echo units when they say stuff like that, since they are programmed to not think about stuff that would make them realize they are Echos.

The only thing this wouldn't explain is why in this scenario Skylar would be reactivated, but I've got a feeling that the culprit would be behind it.
