Its just SFM models,pretty much every game with a hot chick has one. I guess porn game creators are scared to use them since it might be considered illegal [though I dont see the difference since tons of animators are doing same thing].

Honestly, I would LOVE to start seeing game characters models. I think someone started a game with Lara/Tomb Raider recently. Despite hundreds of 3D model games there are actually not that many unique models and a lot of them are pretty dead looking.

Hopefully more of the SFM community comes over to make games because they are honestly a LOT better at making scenes/animations then even top game devs here.

Oh wow. I am sooooo sad about this. I really enjoyed this novel/game,and was reeealy looking forward to an update somewhere down the road. Pleeeeeease somebody, talk to the developer, and see if he will let somebody else continue to develop this amazing title. Anyway......love your work, locjaw.

Yeah, I've seen some ads using animations that can be found in packs on here. They're not from games.

As for the idea of a fan taking over, I think the biggest issue might be with getting the story to feel right. LocJaw explained in an earlier post how he created the renders. It did sound like some tedious post work in photoshop but nothing a dedicated soul couldn't replicate. But yeah, I think finding the right fan that's also a talented writer might be a little tough. If someone takes this on I really can't imagine it staying as good.
Heck, maybe I'm wrong? Maybe it would get better?

I really wanted to see the next few chapters. With the promise of a 1 on 1 car drive with Max, and a blackmailed clandestine meeting with Victoria, things were shaping up pretty hot on the corruption/sex side of the story.

Oh really, this is abandoned? I just got to the point where it stops. This could've been so amazing. The dialogue was very well written and almost no typos. Something you don't see often in these adult games. What a shame.

I'd like to apologize for being completely off-grid for all this time, it wasn't exactly a concious decision.
When I last checked in I just got back from a short(er) hospital stay, for what the doctor said was an ulcer infection. Had to stay there for treatment, and to make sure it's not perforated, but since the symptoms started to fade and I felt better I could come home.
On the second night at home, (a day after the last post I made) I started feeling like shit again, and in like half an hour I was curled up on the floor in fetal position. My father lives across the street, he drove me to the hospital (which is also close by, like a 10 minute ride) but I passed out along the way.
Turns out I had a thing called "gastrointestinal perforation", basically a ruptured bowel. Just as fun as it sounds. I remember laying on the hospital bed talking to my dad, for what he says was before the surgery, but after that I was completely out for a week or so. He said i was having hazy but proper conversations with him and some relatives which I can't recall at all.
Since then, I had a mild infection and a second (but for a change not life-saving) surgery, got transferred to a recovery clinic (at least I think that's the english term) and completely lost my grip on things.
I have no excuse for not contacting you guys in some form, I can only apologize. Never been so low in my life, physically or mentally.
That said, now that I'm out, not pissing through a straw and can eat solids again, I'm planning to pick up where I left off as soon as I can. I'm genuinely sorry, and to those of you who sticked with their pledges even though there was absolutely no lifesign for months I'm quadruple-double sorry.

I truly never would've thought I'd see the day. Low mental and physical point or not, he could've told me he was taking a shit for 5 months, I would've forgiven him. Best 3D dev game I ever saw for it's potential, anyway. So fucking happy. LJ's BACK, ladies and gentleman, and so is my pledge (Come May at least.)

Holy Fucking Crap. I never thought I'd see the day. Every time I'd see some LiS rule 34, I'd think of this game, occasionally look for an update, knowing it was futile. I have been happily proven wrong.

Side note: does this mean the game will be put in the "On Hold" pile instead of the "Abandoned" pile?

While it's a great sign to see a message, it's been long enough that if I were a mod I'd be waiting for a real show of progress rather than just his word before removing the abandoned status. A screenshot or something would be the thing to get me to change the status. I'm glad to hear something though, my hopes are back up.
