Build Update!
With the Steam release, here comes an update for the game! We have been working on fixing a few bugs since it came out, while adding a new achievement system for non-Steam users.
Now, let us be clear: we do not advise you to download this version if you already have the Steam one, to avoid any possible errors.
A very important disclaimer: If you have played this game before, we highly advise you start a new save file and re-play from Chapter 1 to avoid any crashes from changes in the script. We apologize for the inconvenience as we are just monkeys playing with coding.
Here are some additions that come with this update:
- Language addition: You can now play the game in Chinese (simplified) and Spanish (Latinoamérica)
- NSFW Mode: When enabled, some new explicit renders in the sex scene with Becca in Chapter 2 will be shown.
- Hint Mode: When enabled, choices that may impact the story or your relationship with some characters will be highlighted.
- Gallery: You can now unlock images from scenes in the game and snippets (including one we’ve never posted since it takes place in between Chapters 1 & 2)
- Walkthrough PDF: You will have access to a PDF file we have prepared with a full walkthrough to unlock all content in the game.
- Achievements: We figured out a way to include the achievements into this version as well, so we hope you have fun with those!
- Some updates to the UI including credits: What can I say, it’s cute.

What kind of sexual content are you planning to include in this game?
Let’s get this out of the way first. SOP is not a story about sex. It is a story with sex, but it doesn’t set out to explore kinks specifically, so the content here will be on the tamer side. If you want us to get really specific about it, upon seeing DiPeppo include a set of tags that are planned and those that will not be in his game

- we have nothing against other games depicting these preferences, we just didn’t feel that type of content fits the story we are telling here.
Do you have the whole story planned out already?
How long is it going to be? The game will be four chapters long, with the last one possible including an epilogue. The same day I came up with the plot and characters, I wrote a quick summary for each chapter and each ending. Of course, I continue to edit these the more I write, but we have a very clear direction of where each story will go.
Why is your game so short compared to other AVNs?
Because that’s the way we like it. Just to put it out there, the length of the gameplay itself has nothing to do with nor was it affected in any way by development issues. We had always planned to make a sort of short story, with short-ish chapters. I guess we think of each chapter as a movie, or an episode of a show in terms of length, but overall we end up going for what feels natural for the story we want to tell.
When will Chapter 3 be out?
First of all, we’ll throw in a quick reminder that this is not our full-time job. We really, really wish it could be, but the way things are in our lives right now do not allow the time we wished we had to devote to this game. That being said, the financial support we have received so far has made all the difference during the hardest times, otherwise, we’d probably have given this up long ago. Things have been going a lot smoother lately, and now that the game is out on Steam, we will be focusing solely on finishing up Chapter 3. More on that on our next dev log!

Jesus Christ. I’d forgotten how wild it is to release something. The quickest feedback usually comes in the form of negativity, and it does hit hard when you’re sleep deprived and have spent countless hours trying to make sure to get things right.
At the end of the day, we’re really just two people doing something that we have very little idea of how it should be done, and that is why I have to emphasize just how good it feels every time one of you sends a word of encouragement our way. We say “thank you” a lot, and I just want to let you know we truly mean it, it really makes us less of a gloomy ghost, reminds us why we do this, makes us want to try harder. We know our game is not for everyone, but those of you who enjoy it and are vocal about it make our days better in more ways than you can imagine. Muchas, muchísimas gracias, because it somehow feels more honest in my mother tongue.
