Really liked this. Just finished 0.1. I felt like if I didnt choose Amy, she will marry a wrong man and will be sad for the adult age of her life, till like age 40 or 50 and she will divorce him, and remorse how she wasted the young time of her life, which is sad but she will live. But if I dont choose Becca, I feel like she will die in some alley in 10years time from drug overdose or something grim.
I have a feeling of dread against the possibility of this being a tale of not being able to change someone, and her continuing to marry Bradley no matter what you do. That your influence will affect her, but she won't break her engagement no matter what. And maybe in that scenario, maybe it turns out Bradley's actually not such a bad guy, and we were only hearing what we wanted to hear about him. Like Amy's sister calling him "Mr. Asshole" is definitely out of dislike, but quite to the degree that we imagined.

I really hope not. But this story has evoked a feeling of pain I've never felt with any other VN. The prospect of losing something precious for good, a door being closed forever.

Actually I did feel something similar but not quite as heavy, in Episode 1 of Being a DIK where Josy first tells you on the bench that she's in a relationship with someone. That was my first visual novel ever, and I remember this crushing feeling that was so real during that scene. But the stakes are definitely way higher for Amy, because as far as you knew, Josy wasn't about to reluctantly enter into an unhappy marriage in just a month, which is barely enough time to get to know someone.

By 0.1 of Strangers on Paper I already just had this heavy, crushing feeling of, "fuck man. I don't even have enough time to have a chance here." After all, a whole week goes by before I even get another chance to see her again. That's totally normal under other circumstances, but when you have this "doom event" in a month, man the stakes are crushing.

And actually the part about Bradley is at least partially already true we know. He definitely is not as bad as we remember him to be from high school, because we were "a judgemental asshole". Or at least, he's gotten better growing up.

Becca, hands down. Amy seens entirely pointless. Literally has a relationship crisis and soon gets interested in us all because we spent time with her? Nah, fuck that.

Becca is all kinds of broken, but also has many sides to her that you wouldn't expect. She's interesting and fun, while also being caring and considerate as well.

(and maybe )

None of them. They're boring to death.
But I wouldn't mind

Atleast one puts out and we will be our bro's stepbro.
It's not about their look.
Call me a depressive games slut, I tend to go for that type, but this is too much even for me.

These two seem to carry the weight of the world on their sweet asses. They suffer even when they smile, their life is one continuous disappointment from their own inability to come to terms with the imperfection of the world. And they constantly fuck the brain of MC and me through him, with their endless monologues, sad looks and unexpected sighs.

Well, screw it. I'll wait for bonus episodes with non-canonical scenes with different fetishes. :BootyTime:

I really can't choose, they are both very attractive and interesting characters. But so very different to each other. Due to the great writing I'm really interested in learning more about both.
Good thing they're in a game and I can play both paths.

It's a story.

If they don't start in a place where they need to grow and change to become better and deal with the later events of said story, it's failing at characterisation.

I'd wait until the game is complete before making these statements because they might not hold up.
