Wtf are you talking about. No, it's not the first scene you get from loading the game. There's several scenes in the ninja village before including a big daring game segment with sex scenes, then Helena explains each mission and clearly assigns clear teams for each mission. This is done with the text and visuals, when they talk about visiting this town only Zycris, Hailey and Venus are on the screen. So you should understand who is involved.
Then they arrive at the village where they meet the old man with several back and forth shots featuring Zycris, Hailey and Venus on the one side and the old man on the other. So if you pay any attention it's clear there's one unnamed man, Zycris and Hailey and Venis. Then Lumi joins and shortly after his mother joins the conversation and that's when you see him described as young man. At this point it should be very clear that there's the old man, an older woman, Zycris, Hailey and Venus in that scene so the only one who can be classified as "young man" is Lumi.
Like ... come on man. I know people can miss stuff, but don't blame the game for that. You missed stuff.
And even if you miss it, I don't get what the issue is. Because the first choice that can potentially lead to lewd content with him, clearly labels him as a him. So, you know, just read the buttons you're going to click and you're gonna be fine.
Damn, that dare rock-paper-scissors game was really fucking hot. I really liked all parts of it. Especially the last parts with Centoria were really, really hot. Until the interruption.
I'm okay with that right now, since the rest of it was so good, but that also would have been an amazing way to have a first time with a girl. A real shame.
Flynn better not do that fucking "Look at each other -> cut to fucking like animals" after that for their first time. After having an amazing preamble like that interrupted, the preamble for the real first time needs to be at least as good.

So is Lumi just guaranteed to die if you kill the first fury and don't want to kill mercury off?
Honestly it was imo already a mistake letting best girl Misty be entirely avoidable. A second avoidable character for joining the village would be too much. Given how Lumi might very well be dead on quite a few people's playthroughs that'd mean any scene in the village that has both Misty and Lumi in it is going to need 4 different version; a version with both of them, one with just Lumi, one with just Misty and one with neither of them.
Personally I agree, Lumi's best boi. Super cute and a total sweetie, even if he is a literal whore. Functionally though? Just seems like too much work for a character a lot of players would choose to avoid. Either the amount of renders needed for any village scene would skyrocket or he'd be criminally absent from village scenes.
The update was disappointing for me.
I liked the progression of the MC's story in terms of his lineage and history. The action sequences (even if repetitive in style) are always entertaining in terms of the visuals, colours and music.

Dude, stop pretending that you were turned off by Lumi's model. It is literally a female model with dick added on top. So technically speaking - Lumi is a girl.
Understandable. But why is everyone so sure that Lumi is dead? I played with the walkthrough mod and there was no sign of him dying in either decision.
The entire reason Lumi went missing was because Mercury realized he was a man from the village who'd been in the brothel and was going to kill him for it. Attacking Athena was to rescue him, the discussion beforehand was Athena trying to justify herself to avoid the fight, which was actually the most interesting point of the update imo. Despite how haughty she was acting she respected the MC's power and potential enough that even if he was her enemy she tried to avoid a fight with him.
Play through the third choice, negotiate, and you make a deal with Athena to let the boy go. Mercury protests this by saying that he knows who she is and would compromise her position in the village. In other words as soon as Lumi had seen that Mercury was Athena's fury and the one behind the so called curse she was going to kill him. Since in the leave choice the MC doesn't negotiate for Lumi's life there's absolutely no reason to assume he'd survive and quite a bit of reason to assume he wouldn't.

so will the horror elements stay on the later chapters? if so its probably not the game for me
it's just some atmospheric, psychological tension. and a bit of jump scares. I don't like horror, but I didn't mind it in this one.
As it is Thanksgiving here just wanted to thank ya Flynn974 as well your game has been a constant source of enjoyment so am sending messages of regards to all Devs who made games like that possible, which included this fantastic title too. So yea once again gratitude for your effort!

Huge game night scene that takes up almost half of the update. Dev really went all the way opposite to those instant defeat everyone complained about last update xD
Confirmation that Steph is a succubus too. the one we saw in the flashback glimpse in chapter 12? Is Helena a succubus too? or just a human that got a kid from an incubus? or she adopted Steph?
Also confirmed that Sirius did all injuries to himself.
Athena is weak but she likes to scheme. or has to to survive? Zeus being a misogynist is not really surprising, though it's weird he singled out Athena. Artemis didn't seem to have issues.
The deus ex machina during the last fight was bit a unfortunate. Would have preferred something else. like MC pressing on the damaged part of the Aegis, or MC recalling his fight against Sirius and trying to copy him a bit.
is MC leaving before knowing who Babylon in the brothel was ?

everyone that won 1 round in the tournament gets 10 points. but MC won 3 rounds and only gets 5 points per round ???
and Torr got 25 additional points just for beating someone 1 single rank above. MC got only 40 for beating people at least 5 ranks above him, and only 45 for a black belt that is supposed to be the pinnacle of ranks...

next update seems to go to the western elven city. We will find out if Centoria is the real princess or really her double a fun scene would be for MC to get them both at the same time xD betting there will be tons of MC confusing the two and getting the princess horny instead of Centoria. let's hope it doesn't go back to the instant defeat stuff.
We need more scenes with Irena and/or Nixie. their relationships with MC barely progressed.
Thinking Lumi would get some kind of transformation magic applied and become a girl for good if he ever joins the village. The only ever male that came left immediately after, so I don't see any other guy coming settling in permanently before the harem is securely cemented.
