DAMNIT! Inconclusive! The only thing i got from that is that Athena can be beaten but Mercury is dead. I'm guessing that would mean that for now, the curse should be gone. I still feel like Venus didn't want us to fight that battle but will this in some way damage the relationship?
Mercury can live if you walk away (which kinda fucks Lumi, but omelette and eggs, right?)I struggled myself with this decision. At the end i decided to fight because Mercury is no more. Athena made a personified curse out of her, a Fury. She has no problem to kill Lumi in the name of her goddess.
Or you can make a deal with Athena to not kill Lumi.Talk her out of itMercury can live if you walk away (which kinda fucks Lumi, but omelette and eggs, right?)
I know, but she has to kill more innocents for athena. I dont belive that venus wants that for her. If you think about it, mercury is still a slave she just has a new master.Mercury can live if you walk away (which kinda fucks Lumi, but omelette and eggs, right?)

Up until now S2Ch2 only Lumi, a side character, could be seen as trap content but on the other hand he introduces himself as a guy. Still, something seems to be fishy about him and some interaction you will have with him. We will see in the next update.How...dare you.....Mayonnaise is definitely an instrument....JK anyways I am just now hopping in to try this. It seems like it would be a fun game. I would like to ask I know it says Trap content is there but what about trans? Or is that counted in the Trap content?
Correct answer is negotiate.Just finished the latest update, didn't realize there was a choice to negotiate . If you negotiate does it lessen your against points with athena? Kinda hoping athena gets some sort of redemption arc after getting a glimpse of her backstory but not sure how strict the variables are going to be to get it.
Anyway to late now I guess, rather not go back to season 1 and try to find some middle choice and figure out balancing variables. Guess I just got to pick between fight or leave [still not sure which to pick lol]. I mean it feels like the game wants you to fight her since you get so much of info about athena and the mc from the fight [their powers, the voice [nyx?], plus the scene itself was really good, if you pick leave you pretty much get nothing except athena smirking at you.
Didn't like the final choice since choices like that are so frustrating for me but its a great game anyway.
Cebs, any chance you're still keeping your port updated?
From what I can tell it is one or the other. IMO the Faceless God situation is obviously solved by ending it permanently. You heroically save the town and more importantly random people that unfortunately stayed to long. The Faceless God and the brothel curse offer the same solution as well by not fighting and saving one person you doom others to a curse. Narratively it makes more sense that the heroic option is actually harder on you personally in the 2nd instance of ending a curse.Has anyone figured out if it's possible to negotiate while still breaking the curse of the Faceless God? Because that curse seems way more unreasonable so I'd prefer not to leave them like that.
I don't think it's a good or bad end route. Athena doesn't seem to be inherently bad, just horribly traumatized. Not an excuse for her bullshit but it does imply that she's not necessarily irredeemable. On top of that we now know that she's actually scared of the MC, she tried to avoid fighting him, if we pick negotiate she makes concessions that I feel she wouldn't make for anyone else and outright runs away on the fight path last update. I don't think that fighting her puts us on a bad ending path but I do think that consistently avoiding fighting her does put her on a better path with the MC.From what I can tell it is one or the other. Ironically the Faceless God was clear you have to fight or make the deal since your companion is under direct threat, while the brothel curse threatens someone you just met and by fighting you know you have to kill someone that is important to your companion and since that weird memory meld emotionally you have more incentive to try to negotiate. Yet you can't if you actually tried to do the right thing the first time.
I have to disagree that the correct answer is negotiate, remember the MC is 75% god so even 100% gods can't dick you around like they normally do. Maybe there will be some branch where Athena dominates you by always negotiating with her but it wouldn't fit with the amount of information you get by just confronting her. Kinda hope it is a bad end route or something in that regard.

Hey, guys! Sorry it's been a bit since I posted, I've been busy with some uni stuff last week but I did manage to squeeze in some work on the game. Thankfully, I'm done with the intense uni deadline now, so I can work on the game at full speed again. However, I'm sorry to say I'm probably gonna be taking a bit of time off for the Christmas holiday visiting my family for a week or so. However, Imma do my best in the next two weeks to try to compensate for the lack of time this month. Anyhow, just wanted to update you guys on how things are going.
As always, thank you so much for supporting me! <3 <3 <3
