I agree with you. It makes more sense to wait and see if the new developers produce something, instead of jumping to conclusions with wild theories.

With these changes, we will be moving forward with Season 2 Chapter 3! We also plan on looking back and potentially reworking some of the older scenes from Season 1. We hope that you all keep enjoying the game. More to be announced RE Chapter 3 soon."
The first official devlog (behind a paywall) for Season 2, Chapter 3 of Stray Incubus was released today.
We finally got the new official accounts for the game. You'll also notice the name change in development to "IP Studios". It seems like things are slowly getting underway, so we'll have to see what they’ll come up with.
