From what I understand, the game recognizes your save, without having to load it and the story continues.

That could be the case but it wasn't for me. It finds the season 1 save locations automatically, but I had to load my latest S1 save to get the load successful message. Otherwise, even if my S1 saves are available in the game, it just says "No save from the end of Season 1 was found..."

I'm not even sure if any S1 choices have a meaningful effect on S2 at this point, but it may in the future.

Hi ! So, I tried this game a few weeks / months ago and got immediately rebutted by the graphics, I've heard it gets better after a while.. but how long of a "while" are we talking about ? The reviews seem pretty unanimous, so I really want to give it another chance and maybe clench my teeth at the beginning. Also, for those of you who played it all, how is it going ? How is the MC ? The development ? LIs, story ? Just sum it up~

The game is VERY good. The start is rough, but it gets better over time. It will be worth it. The characters are great, both for the MC and for the LIs.

With a VN as heavily story-driven as Stray Incubus, I'd say it's best to always assume your choices do/will eventually have meaning. Some probably won't, but there's really no safe way to be sure which ones are which so I always assume they all matter. Better safe than sorry, I reckon.

Here I put it to load, it gave an error and after ignoring it says that the save from the first season was loaded successfully and the game continues, if you try to load the save by first clicking on start the game, it doesn't even load the save, it has to be done before, If it's still not for you, you might want to download the first season and save it at the end again and see if it loads.

I'm pretty sure we're saying the same thing? I was able to do exactly what I originally said with no issues. I've already played through the first episode of S2. My original comment was a response to the guy posting the error.

If you want to get that technical about it, a game starring an incubus should lean much more toward noncon type of content. But again, the dev expressed many times that he was not leaning that hard into the incubus theme.

A girl screaming IM YOUR CUM SLUT is about as hot or believable as girls obnoxiously moaning/screaming way too loud and fake during sex. These kind of lines are really anti-immersion, and they reek of lack of experience... if you've ever actually given a girl a "mind-melting orgasm" you would know they don't say dumb shit like that when it's happening. Except in cheesy porn movies. They're usually lucky if they can manage an "oh fuccckkkkk" in between gasps.

Actually I see what you're saying! If you just click Load in the menu screen and load even with an error, it works too! Either way works - load on new game or load from main menu.

I already said this on patreon, if you get an error when loading a save from season 1, press ignore, the script will tell you right after if it loaded a save successfully, which usually happens no problem. I already have a version that doesn't show the error anymore I'll fix some more bugs and hopefully post it for the next patreon tier release tomorrow...

It says to load your save and ignore any errors. I did that and also got an error, although it was a different one. There's another message after you hit ignore for the error that tells you whether or not your season 1 save was successfully loaded. Were you able to continue to that?
