Finally got around to starting season 2. The first chapter suffered from a lot of similar issues that I feel like chapter 12 of season 1 suffered, mainly being the pacing and the transition between scenes. It often felt like scenes would end abruptly and suddenly jump to a new scene without explanation. It was only just annoying most of the time, but a few times, it felt genuinely hard to follow exactly what happened between scenes. I feel like adding a black frame between scenes would do a lot to fix that issue. I think chapter 2 was better when it came to this, at least it stopped being as noticeably jarring. It is a shame though, that these issues seem to be most prevalent in 2 of the most important parts.
In terms of the events that played out, I really enjoyed most of them. The tournament was fun, though it kinda felt like the MC had an unfair advantage. It felt like Hailey and Helena genuinely outplayed him, but his absurd healing allowed him to walk off pretty much everything, though after he got shafted in points already, I won't complain too bad. This chapter very much felt like a return to form, since we mainly got to see the girls that we already had a strong relationship with.
I've always been an advocate for Centoria, so it's nice to see that Candy and Torr started to actively include her, though I am pretty annoyed that we got blue-balled there. Speaking of, all the sex scenes were pretty great, animation-wise. The only one that felt off, was Tamara's because it felt like it was sudden for something that it felt like we had been building up to for a while. Scene was hot though, so can't complain too much.
It was interesting to learn more about Athena. I'm wondering if this could lead to some sort of redemption for her. That last choice was hard because I didn't necessarily have a problem with the curse after Athena explained her reasoning, but it was unfair what they did to Lumi. I was actually ready to puck the flee option before I noticed that Lumi isn't with us after the fact. It's also a travesty, what happened to Mercury. Despite what happened to her, I really hope that by some miracle, she's able to survive. Overall, I think the narrative was better for chapter 2, but the sex scenes in chapter 1 were better. Overall, it was a solid start to the new season and I'm looking forward to the next chapter.

This website has some great tools to make your life easier, but you still have to use them. ^^

In a sense it is an unfair advantage, he is part god after all, it makes sense narrative wise that he would win (even though he got out skilled). I think those fights are a pretty effective way of showing that the MC still has a long road ahead of him to become stronger, that if he didnt have the healing factor he would have been obliterated pretty early into the VN.
Hard agree with this, for some it might feel like a cop out to somehow bring mercury back, but I feel like Venus deserves the win
I feel like this is the direction Flynn was going for with that background, some sort of redemption where she learns the error of her ways, maybe she will even help the MC at some point. I still chose fight, because I like Lumi, but I am interested to see where that part of the story goes.

True, I guess the Fight or leave choice is effectively a choice between saving Lumi or sparing MercuryIIRC she doesn't die if you walk away from the fight with Athena which you can't win anyway.
(Not that I have a save like that.)

ok. for the longest time this have been a top 3 fave of mine because it kind of had every label minus maybe 1 thing i love in my plotted porn.....and then this update with lumi in it......main rule of a male centered harem....no other dicks in group other than than the main protag because that that starts down a very screwed up path for the majority of your strictly hetero viewers who aren't into futa. say i'm close minded or an asshole i don't care. if you are going to add a somewhat feminine looking person to it and add a dick to it at least make that optional since the majority of your viewers really don't go for that kink in this type of group dynamic. this is still a top 10 i think as long as i can avoid the character but it feels like a wasted chance to make an optional set for that one so you don't tick off a large portion of your viewers.

There are multiple unknown NPCs on the screen when the "son" speaks.
The first time a male pronoun is clearly used for Lumi is the picture you posted.
I remember seeing it and going "wait what, him? why is it saying him? she is clearly a girl!"
Game does not have futa.
It has a male with a penis and no vagina who drinks a magic potion to transform into a woman with a vagina and no penis.
The first time Lumi's gender is revealed is the first time he appears on screen. There's only and old man and a young man on so it's not like it's ambiguous who the young man is.
