Of course it depends on each person's tastes, but this game is pretty good (or at least it seems that way at the moment) even if it's not a harem game. Personally, I find harem games/stories/comics a bit boring, I prefer the varied ones where there can be gangbangs (Joint games aren't that genre either), threesomes, etc, a bit of variety, in short.
I would recommend you to give it a chance and play the Joint games, they are worth it even if they're not exactly your main taste.

Hey everyone, how's it going?

Dropping in with some updates about the next episode of Streaming For Love! If you remember, our MC has been keeping busy. First with those adventures at the museum, and then making some... let's say, "interesting", friendships at his favorite bar...

Well, on top of that, he also managed to score some key allies during his investigation, which led our crew to help fulfill one of Theodore's biggest dreams - attending a convention full of gamers, cosplayers, and streamers.

Unfortunately, things didn't exactly go according to plan. Now our heroes find themselves "trapped" in some weird garage. Luckily for us, an old friend from Love-Joint is there to help them out…

The fifth episode is in its final polishing phase and should drop next week for all Gold+ tier patrons. Stay tuned!

damn i'm only on Chapter 3 but man it's rare for a game to make me feel something and also feel overly attached to a character.

How vital is the crack? Does it just give me some nice extras, or is it the only way I'm gonna be able to play pastchapter 2?

I was told you need it to play CH 3 and 4. I just used the crack from the compressed download a page back as I think the one linked in the OP might be out dated at least I think it said only up to CH 2 on the thread it re directs you to

yes that's the one. I hear compressed you rarely notice the quality difference. Since the one that does the compressions on this site is pretty good but I personally don't play compressed just on the off chance it does. So I just took the crack that was included in the compressed link and installed it in the non compressed version of the game I downloaded

The crack is the same, I made it so it supports future versions of the games so when a new version comes out it should work as intended. The versions listed on that thread are just the the ones I tested extensively and am completely sure they work, hence "tested to be working with...".
