Just to make it clear (in case anybody's holding out hope this game will come back), don't.
The dev has stated before in a private dms with me that this game all the games he's developed, sans Elleria are abandoned.
Elleria will basically becomes a Trilogy, with Elleria 1 (currently ongoing), Elleria 2, Elleria 3.

With Strings of Fate specifically, many elements of it will basically get absorbed into and used for Elleria 2 & Elleria 3 when he develops them.
In fact, dev said that current Elleria 1 brought in some stuff from Strings of Fate too.

Is this game abondoned for real ?
Yes, sadly this game is abandoned. It is because of this story that I chased down MC to find out what was going on. I talk to him by DM nearly every week now. He did not want to abandon this game, but he spent a lot of money for little return, and was in a lot of debt. I am not even sure if MC is even capable of giving up making games entirely, but like everyone, you have to survive first. That takes making some money and not starving at the very least. He has not given up by any means but he will not go back to this story.

well there is the problem isn´t it???
there are not a lot of devs in this industry that can make a full time living of making adult VN games.
and the devs they do were in this for years before it payed off for them.
it is always a mistake to think as a dev i can make a living out of it from the start.
if you start this in hopes that it will go that way well that is the first mistake.
many devs are satisfied if their developing costs are covered, and if there is more left it is a nice bonus.
you gotta have a backup plan in case it not works out to still live like you used to,but if you start at the beginning with the intention to go full time dev and ending dissapointed if you not get back much in a short time period, well thats a him problem i suppose.if it does work in the long term than it is fine but you gotta need a fallback plan in case it does not work as hoped.

many of us here saw this a lot of times that really good games not getting the payback in form of money support, and other games that are mediocore at best or worse get thousand of dollars every month.

It's not just games. There is a reason why most solo or small team software projects are thankless open source repos with a donation button that only occasionally buys the author enough coffee to keep coding.

The reality is that in software in general you either have to be extremely skilled and lucky at the same time or have a studio/company with a good marketing department backing you if you want to make enough to live off.

Said it a few times on this forum but far too many devs get into this thinking it's an instant money making career when it isn't.

Most of the devs making the big money have been doing this for a long time and have multiple games completed, they built up their playerbase.

A few devs get insanely lucky and find an audience straight away but most won't.

Sadly too many won't put the time and effort in to build up and expect fast returns. Game development in general is a challenge and certainly not a fast track to money.

no dude the problem is sites like this who post creators content 1-5 days after they release it. 3 months of hard work and some ass hole uploads it on here and before you know it you lost out on hundreds if not thousands (for the bigger games) of subscribers. i get people cant afford 30 different subs on patreon so it is nice being able to play these games that i wouldnt have if i had to pay for al of them. atleast let them have like 2 weeks to get paid before you rip them off lol

Well you are not smart enough to know that the developer went by "MC" at the time this game was made. Do you know his real name? No? I thought not :sneaky:. Well, now he goes by "Arcane". Not that you will understand that either. This is why I have given up on trying to explain this stuff .
