I think I understand why I'm not able to activate the console, it turns out that my notebook couldn't open this file, do you use a specific application to open this file? And when I try to open this file it simply goes to a help support that is on my notebook.

Notepad will do it. If it won't open in Notepad by default with a double-click, try a right-click and select Notepad.

That should do it. There are other things you can do in that file, like turning on the taboos, and enabling other types of image files.

Just as an aside, though Notepad works generally for a lot of files like that if Notepad++ works on a MAC it might be worth trying that one out, it's just overall a much better application. Something to consider anyways.

well, i use total comander to browse files, and it is easy to edit files by pressing f4, or you can edit files with notepad plus if you have it instaled.

will love if there is a way to filter displayed messages. as now it is sometimes easz to miss most important messages - laws voted on and if they passed or not.

Someone tell me how to make money in this game ... I haven't gone overboard in this save on anything, have 1 cook, 1 bartender, 1 waitress, and 1 janitor ... I've started drowning in debt again.

One thing I've found: don't automatically open all hours you're allowed. Just because you can open weekday afternoons doesn't mean you will necessarily have enough customers.

Have you edited the config.dat file at all? I had this problem but I only experienced it after editing the config file. If you are going to edit, put your edits in the user_config.dat file.

Getting double Mingle With Guests opportunities at one party. Every time now, I get two rolls of the die. Don't remember this happening with the previous build. I like it. The second time is less impactful, mostly, but it's still nice.

So. I've played a bit more on 1.04. I'm not entirely sure if this is working as intended, but I'm into July now. I've just finished building an entrance and a dressing room, hired my first singer and host and am finally in a positive revenue.

I'm currently at 271 fame. Score 45,555. I'm 15k in debt and currently have a positive cash flow of about $200 a day. (Keep in mind this IS even with me exploiting by hiring Janitors are the cheapest price (~$10) and retasking them into other jobs.)

All the other businesses are $30~$60k in debt and losing $100~$300 daily. I'm not convinced the balance is working as intended...

At what point do the other clubs just fold and go bankrupt? Or do the banks just issue infinite loans?

In my current playthrough, a club went bankrupt (and later reopened under new ownership) but it was the one that was second in fame after mine, and had actually paid off its debt. I don't know why it went under.

The Finances screen seems to be showing me only one payday's worth of salary for "rest of month", but there are two in the month. It should be around 213k.

Is there a summary of storylines in this game?

The little sister seems to just endlessly generate random interactions with no ending or resolution beyond her being a stripper in your club.

The cult can be taken over and used to generate Lewdness in it's members.

The porn storyline seems to just result in jobs in porn, nothing more.

And then the mafia just demands payment. Is it supposed to advance further?

Is there anything else I'm missing?

How does the mafia storyline start?
When i start a new game, is it possible for me to start in downtown (center of map) location?
Is there a way to prevent the game from generating fat/obese NPC`s?
When considering the weight an opinion has on voting a law, for example "younger people" for Drinking age lower than 21" laws, does it matter if she only likes that opinion, instead of loving it? Also, when it says, for example for the service club taxes: "Helping Others -0.20", does that mean the npc needs to have a negative opinion about helping others to be able to pass the law?

That looks like a null pointer problem actually thus it is caused by the deeper parts of the unity engine. Unity itself is written in C++ afaik.
The 'C0000005' points to an access problem which can occur if memory isnt committed.

Or to quote Microsoft:
"

The memory address may be invalid because of one of these common scenarios:

• NULL Pointer - addresses between 0x0 and 0x10000 (64K) - e.g. a function that usually returns a pointer returned NULL (0x0), and the pointer was accessed without verification
• Memory Corruption - the address was mistakenly or maliciously overwritten - commonly via a buffer overrun (or underrun)
• Use-After-Free - the address was valid, but is now being accessed after it is freed (data)
• Bit-Flip - RAM (hardware) issue where one or more bits have flipped (rare)

Helpful. Does this lead us anywhere? Other than closing and restarting the game more often, I mean.
