It's not a hard cap, but rather a minimum. Your club will have a minimum of 50 fame (this is configurable in the options). So if you have a fame of 30, it will still show 50 (and will use 50 as the basis for the people to come to the club). But if you get a bump fame message, then it goes from 30 to 35, but your value remains at 50. I'm not thrilled with how this works so may come up with a better way to do it.Is there a hard cap on fame in the early game? I'm 2 months into a fresh start (no singers yet) and fame seems locked at 50, even after I get a message about a positive interaction giving a temporary fame boost.
Good catch. Will fix those. Normally the code validates the field values to catch those spelling mistakes but that field was not being validated.Been checking out the txt files in the data folder for v1.08, came across a couple typos in archetypes.txt. The slut and artsy archetypes have a "vigin" flag instead of "virgin," so I figure those flags aren't applying as intended. Perhaps some confirmation bias now when I think back on all the folks I've found in game with all the slut likes who tell me it's their first time.
I have enjoyed fiddling around with this game over the past month. It's been a... slow burn to reach a game state that matches the game's title. I get the design choice; I just find the circumstances amusing.
Yeah this is still not working right... there's should be two components. Once you ask to change the opinion of X and she says no, she shouldn't change her mind for that particular opinion until the next day. However, saying no making it so that all future asks are going to be no. So I'll look into fixing that. There's also an overall annoyance component, that the more you ask, the less the chance she accepts. But that should only lower the success probability not the current block you are seeing. Some of them that are more stubborn to being told what to like I might agree could be like this but I swear I've had it plenty of times before where they'd say no then immediately just capitulate right after, or you could at the very least try to ask them about other topics. With how it is right now it seemed like if they disagree on one topic I can't even just change tact and ask about another they just shut you out completely.
I know in terms of creating a more realistic "life sim" it might make more sense this way but it's just not to my personal taste. It just makes me want to save scum xD
Yeah I've seen that happen. If something went wrong when the first one was generated, it may create a second one and all it does is you have a bogus entry in your contacts. But in this case it appears it went wrong both times (the ? in the image indicates that). Can you interact with them?Another bug. MC 22y, i have first sis ok but second is doubled.
Read the PDF on the game main folder. It's not quite a tutorial but explains what needs to be done to create your own images.I want to create my own girl pack, is there a tutorial for it somewhere?
No, he's got the values right. The issue is that sometimes the give/receive relationship gets swapped and I can't figure out why. I only seen it a few times, and not enough to be able to track it down. Are you sure the values (giving/receiving) work that way? I mean the act of "giving/receiving" could mean the same for both blowjob and anal? So, anal (giving) = give your ass. Maybe the values should be set opposite of what you are setting? Has TotalFluke confirmed which way these work?
For crashes, the best thing you can do is provide me with the last few dozen lines of the Unity log file (found at C:\Users\<your name>\AppData\LocalLow\Total Fluke Studios\StripClubWars\Player.log). And then tell me what you were doing when it crashed and if you have made any edits to any files, including the save file. The easiest way to get a game crash is to edit a save game and mess something up. The file may load correctly and the game may run fine for a while, until it needs the data that got corrupted and then it will crash.any ide how to fix crashes/lockups ? in latest version they look more frequent compared to earlier ones.
Small correction of myself: It isn't a rumor, one of them will message you with something like "John is my boyfriend now" or "Kate dropped me", giving you three reaction options: positively, negatively, ignore.(2) NPCs start off single but will over time become boyfriend/girlfriend if they find somebody they like, engaged, marry, possibly separate again. You will often hear about this as a rumor.
A fast cooldown on that would be very welcomeHaving played some of the new update now I feel like most of it seems to be working great, however I personally really don't enjoy the mechanic where people get annoyed and block you from trying to change opinions now. It feels like added steps to create unnecessary grind. It could just be my personal preference but there we are.
Thanks again mate.Sorry for the delay... was tied up the past few days. So that's a weird error. I think the problem is that it has character id 46 as the leader of the cult which seems wrong. The ids are assigned to objects as they are created and there's no way it would have created the cult leader that early. (The ids apply to all game objects, including people, clubs, rooms, messages, etc.) By the time it gets to object 44 it's normally only created 3 clubs. So this data is wrong in your save file. Was it an accident of you modifying the file by hand or some other corruption I don't know.
If you want to try to fix it, here's what you could try. Look at your contacts and find the actual leader of the cult. Should have a job of CEO. Then use the console to find her character id. Type "list p" without quotes and then look for the leader name on it. The first number in the line it's their id. Then exit the game, edit the save file and the first line should be labeled World. Look for moral_police in that line. It should be followed by a number, in this case it should say 46.000. Change that to the id that you got from the console and save the file. Try not to mess up the special characters around it. (Maybe make a copy of the save file first just in case). And then try that.
That's weird. I'm guessing something didn't download right? The log file should have tell you how far along it got so whatever was next was probably the issue (although you wouldn't be able to tell what that was).
No, but how would bc affect mc fertility though? I'd also prefer not to turn off bc either way, finding ways to overcome (for a lack of better word) them is more fun.Have you turned off birth control? I think it's on by default.
NGL, I always seem to get very low fertility characters and always assumed it was birth control as I never turned it off.No, but how would bc affect mc fertility though? I'd also prefer not to turn off bc either way, finding ways to overcome (for a lack of better word) them is more fun.
You only get one sister (or daughter) in the beginning. How many times have I started a new game, but with any choice of age, only 1 sister or daughter is given...
How to make it so that there is a mother or 2 sisters, etc.?
I have the same Bug it looks like this:Yeah I've seen that happen. I think it works as intended, if your business has a lower fame than 50 it replaced to be 50. Also as I expected more basic staff (like 2 bartender) means no fame rise, I think they calculated on they average skill level. Two month - especially at the beginning - is a very small interval to breach this limit. In my playthrough I breached it after 4 month. Not really; if my club is at the minimum 50 fame, and I get a message about a positive interaction with an employee giving a temporary fame increase, I expect to see that fame go above 50. It says that's the minimum fame but in this case it seems to be a maximum.
You need to wait more than a few days.hey folks, im still in the tutorial - i cant find a bartender (interviews) i set up a post for hire and waited a few days but the option for a interview never showed up... what am i doing wrong?
You've done nothing wrong. Welcome to the reality!hey folks, im still in the tutorial - i cant find a bartender (interviews) i set up a post for hire and waited a few days but the option for a interview never showed up... what am i doing wrong?
I am playing the newest version of the game but the younger sister event won't trigger, what gives? It's not a hard cap, but rather a minimum. As for the game title... I have decided to concentrate more on the social aspect of the game and not as much on the running a successful business. The economic modeling turned out to be a lot harder to do than I expected more importantly a lot less fun.

The other main reason I've seen from crashes would be on machines with low memory and running the game for a while. If you don't have at 8GB of RAM, I suggest saving and exiting the game every hour or so.
