The older sister always showed up within the first week or two whenever I started a new game on previous versions - now I can't get her to show up at all.

I've confirmed the younger sister showing up by zooming through some time - though getting the mother to spawn has only happened once for me ever through plenty of restarts.

Any ideas why the older sister won't spawn? (also any ideas on getting the mother to spawn consistently?)

It's probably best to just say no to him the first time you meet him. Then he won't bother you. You would also need to delete the runtime/tfl/stories/family.tfo file. And then you would need to delete it every time you update the game. (The game may log errors about functions not found but that should not break the game).

how do you do that? i said doing fine no thanks but he said no need to make decision now and i keep getting invited to meet him. never bring girlfriend but the invites never stop

Thanks for the new update of Fast Start and choosing family members, both of which are huge positives, was a bit of a heart break that I'd need to start over from scratch each update, so the fast start is nice.


My current pipe dream is an option sometime in the future, I like to play as a lesbian female MC, but I'd really like a way to impregnate my S/Os. Maybe a futa or clinical option some day?

So im running into this when trying to dump the character list.
Issue persists even on a new download of the game.

If you have trouble finding someone's id_key, just look in your save file and find their name

A bit of a strange question if I create a character and (for example) I put scw-00001-f4w-mnsll-lsm-x-head (original file) and I put three other images naming them scw-00001-f1w-mnsll-lsm-x-head, scw-00001-f2w-mnsll-lsm-x-head, scw-00001-f3w-mnsll-lsm-x-head do they work with the scw-00001 images or do I have to copy and rename all the images?

You cannot have multiple image sets with the same name, which in your case is scw-00001. Why would you want multiple heads anyway?

I don't want multiple heads but one head for multiple ages so as not to create the same character and multiply the images (for a custom folder)

The first sister is always created immediately after your character generation is completed. She will be listed if you "dump p 3" (without quotes) toward the end of your skills as something like "closest_friend=XXX", typically being between 208 and 212. It is possible for her to start with a day job that eats up all her stamina so you don't actually see her around town except potentially on weekends (factory worker is especially bad for this). If you "dump p XXX" with her number during each time period, you can see her current location near the top/left of the info. If that is "away", then she is at her off-screen day job and she will be at that every weekday during morning/noon/afternoon, then often be too tired to do anything else and just hang out at "home" the rest of the day, occasionally getting out during the later periods, or (worse for you) having just enough energy to go to the gym after-hours (multiple times I have seen her hit the gym during the night time period, when the player cannot enter).

Best way to more consistently see her that I have found, in this situation, is to just use "dump p 208" (or whichever number she is assigned) every time period on the weekends and during evening/night on weekdays to see where she is set at, then go there directly to catch her early.

Do you happen to know if the mother exists in the same way, or is she an rng spawn? (I'm aware you have to be under a certain age for her to show up)

Likely just bad RNG. I started a few new games on the last couple versions, and sometimes she gets a call in with someone in the first 1-3 days of posting, other times she can go long enough I have already filled the jobs from randoms so she never gets the chance.

All you can do is duplicate the set under different names, so when creating the image save it twice as xxx00001-f1x and xxx00002-f2x.

So I was hoping I could find all the preg images in the character folder so I used the search bar in file explorer for Windows, and it returned no results, despite finding them in the folders, the search bar could not get me the files by the file names.

I've seen this also as I was trying to do a sweep of picture files with typos a little while back.

Suspect it's just the way the folders have been written if they were created with a 3rd party tool. That or they're not decompressing with searchable attributes.

such a strange bug popped up on me. (I immediately write that I only change stats for MC, in the case of other heroes I only change, or rather correct greed and will.) And here is the situation and bug. I hire my sister as a bartender. When I manage to find a better one and hire her, I transfer my sister to janitor, and I start training her. During training, at values 60 and higher, the values start to rise every 2nd-3rd training, despite success every time. At 93, the end does not move for a month of training. (always positive news.

I'm not sure what event that is. I can't find those choices in the system so no idea what you are talking about. I've lost track of all the possible interactions and without having something exact I can search for is kind of hopeless.
