What? You don't need to alter save to reassign. There is a function in game. Just talk to which ever employee you want to move and look for "reassign Job" They do need to be qualified for some jobs, so need the right degree etc.

Um I was talking about going into the savefile and changing a persons job like "Real Estate Agent" and switching them out for one of my employees. For example, I employ Alice as my Business Manager, and my sister is a Real Estate Agent. Both jobs have a line in the savefile under Jobs.
Which looks something like this:
Code:
Job 223 realtor 69300.00 -1 4321 0
Person 215 Violet Smith 24 Female White straight SW 498.59 1041.58 False done grad 223 home
223 is the job pointer number.
Realtor is the job type and needs to be one of the jobs described in the jobs.txt in the Data Folder
69300.00 is the pay. Which does mean you can go into the savefile and change the pay of your employees.
-1 is the location. In this case -1 mean that it is a phantom business. Your character's club is always 34. The other clubs have specific numbers too. The clubs are the only business that matter for game economy purposes. The rest are phantom.
4321 i dont actually know what this means, my guess is it has to do with when the job was started.
0 is the number of weeks the character still wants to stay in the job. AKA you get the "I m still getting used the new job" line when asking an NPC to work for you.
So back to the example, the realtor job is pointed to by the Person entry after the 'grad'. You could basically look for Alice entry and switch her job number with the sisters job number, and suddenly she would work for you. BUT again I think that doing this will break things, and I dont care enough to try it.
I believe that is what was meant with the first part of editing the save. The second part of employing her at any job and the reassigning her, is a good idea.
