I tried looking for an answer to this question but there is just too many posts to comb through. I'm finding that when I go to do quests or dungeons, I have no options for actions other than rest, it doesn't let me do anything else at the dungeon site. Am I missing something, or is my game glitched?

The child born to your wife is the one that can use that and it gives even more starting xp to use.
I am not for sure if the child will inherent any of the parents skills or thing but that is how I read it.
Have not tried that yet.
I tried it but it doesn't let me choose the heir option.

ok let me know if you run into the same problem when you start playing again.
The Heir must be conceived after the marriage.

The Dev is working on that part plus the dating system so it could very well be broken.

Started as a solo fighter, even starting quests are fucking impossible, GL if you get a quest to take out a group of enemies, really fucking classy. Why do you even add the option to start as a fighter and then place no gear in the shop and make healing items heal jackshit? Man why does every developer nowadays have shit for brains?
I mean if you decide to start solo and stay solo in a management game, that's kind of your fault no?
in the first game you could grind out a little money with a strong fighter start vs some straggler bandits. you still wanted more hires eventually. this game just shits on your action economy from turn zero.

Edit: Also, if you go on a characters page under "training" you can use loyalty to buy upgrades that reduce or eliminate their obedience drain, making it a nonissue on older slaves
as a mage you can get the dominator class that allows soul bind. which turns off the obedience loss entirely.

i preferred the magic brands though.

Afaik it also disables Loyalty gain over time for future upgrades. But with everything else unlocked you can just throw a collar on them and then they also wont lose obedience anymore.

Different question, can you train sexuals without going through the sex minigame? Or how do I train male slaves for the Servants Guild without making MC gay? ;D

You don't have to use MC you can choose any 2 you want to have sex and work them.

The new system for obedience works great if you know how to use it.

Get these 4 and over 95% of the NPC's will never lose obedience again. Strive for Power 2 2022-08-15 17-53-42-75.jpg Once you get the whole panel done then you don't need a collar on some of them.

Yeah idk why people are unhappy about the obedience changes. Granted, I too INITIALLY hated it because with how many characters I had I nearly lost all of them due to obedience drain, but I sat down and read how it worked when I first noticed how fast they were losing obedience, did my best to recover said obedience, and managed to recover before any of them ran away, and now going forward, due to this system, it makes luxury rooms kind of redundant. I do enjoy the luxury room mechanic, but sinking that many resources into something that only benefits ONE character at a time is abhorrent, and with the new obedience system even CLOTHES you give them or ACCESSORIES can make it so that they never lose obedience as long as you equip/upgrade enough of them. This solves my complaints about the limited luxury rooms.

As a side bar I have 2 questions:

1: Does anyone know what that text bubble is I see over the characters' portraits? I've clicked on it just to see what it does and I don't know to this day.

2: Does anyone know what the sword is meant to represent when disassembling? I see that if you drag the slider you get more resources for disassembly, but I noticed you're limited to 1 sword after repeated disassembly so I'm assuming it's a resource of some kind but I don't know what. It doesn't seem to be affecting any of my characters, it certainly hasn't changed my money, and it doesn't seem to use up faction points or anything. I just can't figure out what that sword icon/multiplier is meant to represent.

1. Post a screen shot please.

2. When you have more than one the slider can be use to scrap all at 1 time.
The slider shows what 1 will give you and if you have more then the slide ends on what only 1 gives you and if you move the slider to the far right it will scrap all of the items you want to scrap.

If you want to reduce the obedience loss, invest in building up your blacksmithing early. Shackles and Iron Collars go a long way to keeping it under control.

In the early game you need money so doing what I posted above saves on the resources that you can sell.
3 post above yours.

Its very easy to keep obedience maxed out now.

Yeah I wouldn't upgrade too much until after the loan quest.

Also the handcuffs give -10 physics, which might make a new slave genuinely suck at some tasks.

My suggestion was to help people avoid large obedience drops while building up the loyalty to unlock those options.

In my play through I use shackles and iron collars on new slaves, particularly captured ones, then as I unlock the loyalty options, for lack of a better term, I upgrade to an elegant choker and whatever hand slot item helps with the job I give them. I also try and use as many items with a loyalty gain bonus to speed up being able to unlock the options I want.

As with almost everything in this game there is more than one viable path to achieve any goal.

how are people getting slaves faster than they are able to fill the loyalty screen? usually takes me a day or two of coddling to get them to unlock labor and then the obedience drop goes down as you buy their higher levels. is this one of those things where once you have a large house people are just buying 5+ at once?

You start with 1 free slave, on day 2 you can recruit Daisy.
You start with enough Gold to buy 1 Slave from the Slave market and if you attack a Bandit Den you get atleast 1 more slave from the Boss fight... so theoretically you can have 5 people at home as soon as day 2 or 3

Prior to the new loyalty/obedience mechanic I would have group sex and attempt to mass impregnate my slaves to increase the work-force rapidly. Thus forcing me to find ways to reduce massive obedience drops in the early to mid game.

What are some good strategies to dealing with the Erebus Stones?
These guys mess me up unless I bring along an Alchemist
