Is Crush ludicrously slow in delivering anything? Absolutely. Are his claims about the reasons for the delays highly dubious? You bet. But those issues would be just as true if he collected $5 a month as it is if he is collecting $5K per month. Blaming him for being successful selling a game product that doesn't seem to reflect the hours supposedly spent on it is moronic. You should be impressed with his sales ability instead.

See what you fail to understand is that the simple friction of people laughing at them is usually enough to make them shit or get off the pot. The world where high effort shitposts turned game like this should be lauded as hilarious. HentaiWriter had half of future fragments done in 2 years and dragged the rest out for nearly 10. You could have gotten 2-3 games of equal quality from them in that time.

Unfortunately the environment of my hobbies does affect my hobbies. Creators being encouraged to finish new projects and move on instead of spending 10 years milking the bare minimum of work would be good actually. And I don't know how to tell you this but the only thing worse than making a spite parody of a porn game is dick riding a guy whose claim to fame is making "We have COC at home"

The guy will probably rewrite his game before his recent rewrite is even released. He has no repercussions to milking his patroens so long as they keep paying him.

Exactly, Crush doesn't care, his patrons don't care, but a bunch of uninvolved "do-gooders" seem to care very much. It's not like they have to need to mine this tiny niche of the internet to dins something to be offended about.

So many threads run like this, I said it in another games comments you can you can divide the comments into 3 camps

1) those who like the game and support it (either on patreon or just like playing it)
2) those who dont like it/stopped supporting it

AAAAAAAAND

3) those who hate that there are people who disagree with them and are not in their camp (either 1 or 2 above).

I'm in camp 2 after he announced yet another rewrite. I was invested in what he had and now it's just not going to be finished. The earlier version was also well done. I wish he would just stay the course at this point.

It really does feel scummy though like he is milking it. The Sugarcube and graphics he uses are relatively simple as this game points out. The writing would be easy too unless he was just revisiting every couple weeks to write.

No, I am Camp 2 and explaining why.
I don't really care if you agree with my assessment or are in my "camp" or not.
I will maintain that this site, as a rule, is brutal to developers in general... but that is a different point.
