I was under the impression that the "Book 1 Steam" build in the OP was indeed the actual Steam build that will be put on sale, but to my surprise it still had a grand total of 3 background songs in the entire game =/

Gag in the forums, but not in the game, right? I got that impression from my first playthrough, and there were very ambiguous hints throughout, but they can mean so many other things. Can you imagine the nerdrage if he becomes a full-on LI?

No, Alistair is pretty strongly hinted to be gay in the game. Having a gay character doesn't mean they're a potential LI though.

Well there was that one time he was out drinking, and he seemed pretty out of it. Fair chance something might have happened, or not happened then. I'm leaning towards gay because if he was asexual, he'd probably have said so already.

Not yet, but there's hints of some beginnings of attraction. It's speculated these variables will be important later on when it comes to the throuple paths.
