The obvious thing would be that he's gay and maybe in love with Val. The "war-wound" thing is not likely, because that would be widely known, and he would not have been serving with Val at the end of their time. The fact is that nobody really know, as it hasn't been revealed in game. Heck, they can pull a Sixth Sense reveal, and Alistair died on the final mission, and everyone knows about Val's hallucinations and are humoring him...

But it would be stupid as McNab heavily implied that its obvious and EVERYONE (the girls) but Valentine knows about it. The "joke" is how oblivious valentine is about it despite knowing him for so long while all the girls probably immediately figured it out. I think even Els dad is aware of it.
I bet even fucking davis was aware.
Why would the girls or valentine (if he wasnt involed in the mission) know about it if it would be injury related?
He's 99% gay but i strongly doubt that hes in love with valentine or something similar stupid

Hello everybody, no render today, trying to be quick and prompt
Finished up the rest of the Katie Kafton™ scene ( Minus a smidge of lighting that I'll finish up right after I post this. That leaves me with one last characters animations to finish up before I start moving into the testing and back end finishing stage. Not much else to say here, it's just getting things done and getting em released. On a mildly exciting note I did commission something very special for the release, I'm keeping exactly what it is close to the vest because I want it to be somewhat of a surprise but I think it's really exciting and I'm eager for you guys to see it.
That's about all can say from a development standpoint at the moment, so I'll let you go in a moment. I do want to make a note that development will be slower this week because I've been selected to sit on a jury for the rest of the week so fun fun, but I'll get everything I can in when I can.
I want to thank you as always for the support I know this update cycle has been longer than average and I do appreciate the patience you've exhibited, I'll do everything I can to make sure it's worth it.
With that I hope you all have a lovely rest of your week.

I know a lot of people like her, and that's good for them, but I have to say, I don't see the value in Katie Kafton. She doesn't add anything to the game for me as a lewdable character, and that makes her just a distraction from time spent working on scenes with the other girls. Plus, the more I see it, the more her name bugs me. Why is it always "Katie Kafton" and never just "Katie"? (As indicated by the "™" after her name in the progress update there, it's a thing the dev's fully aware of.)
Can anyone tell me why she is so well-liked? Is it just a matter of taste, and people like her looks a lot more than I do, or is there something else to her that I'm just not getting?
