Hey folks, was testing something out with Vi here, figured might as well share it for a bit of visual stimuli. Anyway gonna try and be brief here.
My big ole batch of Amrit related fixes is nearing completion, essentially one more big batch that I'm working to get knocked out by end of weekend, assuming everything cooperates.
Testers have their cheat sheets so they should be prepped up and ready to go.
Pleased with most of my UI changes, a few more small ones to tweak and that'll all be done.
Since this will be the first official release with an ost/audio been listening to more things than I'd like. But found a nice little cadre of artists making exactly what I was looking for.
That's all the technical stuff of note at the moment. A quick personal note a family member is having surgery this afternoon (nothing major but still a fairly large surgery) so I'll be assisting them at home for the next few days until they're back on their feet. Just a heads up if you try to reach me in the next few days that I might be a bit tardy on responses.
Final note, that big in depth post about the Amrit issue went from a fairly in depth post to a much larger vaguely concerning post. It sort of took on a life of it's own as I got angrier. What was once just a talk about a very specific program went off course and turned into a whole rant about technical limitations and artistic visions. Still going to release it, but I have to clean up some of the language, and also organise it a bit better so it doesn't read like a blog some lunatic wrote on a 2005 conspiracy board.
Time for our very tedious, but needed warning that Part 8 starts with an entire new file and you need to have a save file transfer ready to import. Either the Steam editions or the current pinned editions here on the page will allow the transfer, if you don't have a transfer ready you will NOT be able to just start at Part 8.
This was my attempt at brief and clearly I'm lacking both brevity and wit, The Bard weeps.
Thank you as always for the support and I hope you have a lovely and safe rest of your week.
