What the game is or isn't. Is your opinion. Opinions is cheap, they like assholes, everyone got them.

Took the money how? As in use the money to fund production of the game? Spend it on hookers and blow? I suppose you got the hard facts and recites to show for?

Dose someone has also to explain to you that when someone is spiting on your face it is not a rain? I do not have hard facts, same as you.

You are the one claiming it is a scam though and have a hard time prove it. I let their actions speak for itself, and atm, everything point towards them working on the game.

Of course they do, work.
There'll always be knights in shining white armor protecting this business model.

Truth be told tho, we're playing this for free, so we have no real right to really complain about the game.
But pointing out stuff is ok imo, especially since people are buying it lol.

Tbh too tho, for a $30 games, as long as you get an hour worth of porn to jerk off to, since that's why anyone will probably buy the game, it'll be worth it in money value. I know ain't noone here will say they brought this game to play the mini chess game and spaceship shooting game.

Honestly... for the guy saying it's a scam, I get him a bit.
No one is trying to defame anyone or say it out of negativity, it's just being blunt and telling people how it is.
I get why people get offended too, they jerk off to it, so they have emotional attachment to it, that's why they tend to get defensive.

But it's just a fact, the longer you stall the more money you get for stuff like Patron, in this case, they sold a game that's not finish, so they basically made quick buck, but they have no choice but to keep updating it, because if they don't, obviously people will complain, no shit and they can go at their own pace slowly until they feel the need to do something else.
Look at Summertime Sega as ie.
The real updates are slow, and it's probably only a few scenes. If that's what people are getting and the one update a month isn't really an update but it's an update once every few months. Folks are only finally noticing how they're not getting shit for what they've paid.
This could be similar where you pay a whole ass $30 for a game than get like an update they said every month, but it's only a real update with a few sex scene once every few months. So I get why he might be worry, because basically, you're not paying for money's worth now, it's your time's worth. Ain't no one here gon wait another 5 years to finally jerk off to this shit, we'd be too busy with real life in that time span.

But y'all won't see that, as long as it keeps updating, people will buy it thinking it's going to keep getting new content and new consumer will probably keep buying when it's really just limited content as a start, and with every patch.

After a certain point if the game is really long, yeah you'll get more content than you pay for, but if they cut the story short, what can folks say? They'll probably add more in as DLCs. Y'all gon pay again for a 60 second video loop that doesn't even let you choose where you nut. Hell, 90% of the videos are like the one you can find on rule34 for free where they have a 30 second loop with a speed adjuster lol.

We have animators out there making just as much if not more scenes of similar or better quality within the same amount of time going solo.
They're not some broke group that's just starting out with nothing too, they also have a decent budget and tons of simps that'll pay for their kickstarter or whatever is needed. So if they ask, people will probably buy into it.
If they actually go beyond and try, I think they can push out better quality content, this is basically the same games or videos they were making 10 years ago.
I'm not sure about the history of the game too, but let's say they have a million to work on this game with, if they had that much and made a game of this quality, than maybe I'll understand the complaint.

Since they really just took the "visual novel route adding it to what they've done and kept the same playing a video but giving you the option to click buttons and calling it gameplay" concept.
There's not even much options with the sex or game too, everything is linear and predetermined. Haha, some sex scenes aren't even finished, it's just a loop of the blonde chick getting fucked by the dog thing, they can't even animated it so that he gets to bust a nut inside of her? Our buddy is getting blueballed. What's the difference between those and the one you can find online? I can't share nothing yet, but I can pop a 20 second video from a random animator that I can view for free on their site and it'll be the same as the one you pay to see in the game.
Ngl too though, I doubt it'll change anytime soon too, it'll probably be the same quality or less coming out with the upcoming patches. Looking at their previous product and this one, it's the same thing but just on a slightly bigger scale.

Mind you I've played it for free, so I'm not complaining, but I'm pointing out to those worshipping the game, that it's really nothing too different from what people's been playing or to be more exact, watch for free. Keyword: Free.
But that's not too valid a reason, since they probably making money through other means too.

So again, that's probably why he's saying y'all getting scammed. Maybe.
I agree with the defensive guy too though, I don't really see it as a scam yet, as long as they deliver and make more decent content that's worth the $30 they want people to pay. To me, for $30, I'd say at least near an hour of porn to work with.
But that's me.

And I didn't pay, honestly, Idc enough.

I'd rather use my money out of the country when covid dies or in vegas to get my dick wet.
Even going downtown to try your luck is more worth it tbh.
But it's your money, your choice to determine if you got scam or not, so y'all should probably chill.
Kinda killing the vibe of this thread here.

Actually looking at the page before this haha, shit, it's just you two arguing back and forth lmao.
A whole page was just you two going at it lol.
I guess it is what it is, it's your time you're using, but fuck... ‍♂
I wasted my own time writing ts lol.

I just bought this game on Steam and I'm actually enjoying it so far. I'm a huge XCOM fan so I'm loving the isometric battles (the space battles not so much). I see the $30 as an investment, when I look at the quality of the game so far I'm in good spirits I'll be getting good returns. Even if the sex scenes are a bit lacking right now...

Seeing games like this, Crisis Point and Future Fragments makes me real excited for the future of adult games. Imagine getting quality games like Mass Effect but it's actually a smut game at heart lol

If only the developers of Subverse could come into this thread to come clean about them spending all that money on crack and hookers...then all the anxiety will be gone...then we can just accept that we have been 1upped again...lol...joking aside, then again if they see the bottom-feeding dwellers here I guess it's understandable if they are a bit hush-hush on news about the game development (even though they deliver monthly...I hope)

Oh to be villified one day...

This is not to make 100 more renders a month like they do to renpy games
So in two months they have nothing to show even as a teaser. I'm now inclined to think that their early access was actually all that they were able to produce, all other chapters are not unfinished, they aren't even started to make them.
You're aware this is not gonna be a chapter by chapter release. They plan on releasing large sections of the game at a time. That doesn't get done instantly.
They hadn't even posted update schedule. Should I wait for a couple of years before starting to have doubts about their abilities to uphold their promises of finishing the game?

As an X-com fan, how can you enjoy this watered down trash tier tactical combat? There are no cover mechanics, no accuracy, no zone of control, no terrain, no troop management, no customization, waves spawning in random tiles, small "map," repetitive enemies, and the list goes on. It's literally a joke. The ship battles fare a little bit better, but that's also repetitive and basic with very little room for growth with the current system.

If the sex scenes were only "a bit lacking," we might even excuse this shitty gameplay. The porn aspect is a whole lot more than "a bit lacking," though. We can't even blame the fact that it's early access for this shortcoming. It's not the lack of H content that is the problem. The system they devised for the porn is utter dog shit, so no matter how much 5 second loops they pile on top of it, it will remain a steaming pile of shit.

Ya, biggest issue with the XXX content is lack of narrative integration, IMO, and the scenes need to be significantly longer as well.

Something I've considered a bit when thinking about how they could tweak the system is that if they want to make it to where they have teaser / intro, standard / premium, and then an after scene potentially with a given girl (so that the player can customize and build their scene the way they want with those types of selections), what they might consider doing is adding a "lead-in" (desperately needed), "transition" (also desperately needed for immersion and avoiding scene-breaking), and "lead-out" (not as important, but could add to immersion) animation for scenes, some of which could be re-usable to save dev time, that would effectively begin the scene, and then transition smoothly between each section of the scene and this would take care of one of the most common complaints with Pandora that I've seen, which is the aforementioned lack of the scenes being integrated into the story.

An example would be this - let's say you're building a Lily scene...for a teaser let's imagine the devs fulfill a common request on the Steam forums and put a stripper pole in the captain's cabin and you choose that for your 'teaser' (I'd imagine eventually they'll have customizable outfits as well so you can pick what you want her to wear), then for the standard part of the scene, you select some vanilla sex scene like the premium recruitment scene in the base game, then for the after you have the cuddling in bed scene that was in the base game with Killision....

What the devs really need to do is add a lead-in that the player doesn't necessarily pick, it's just there to add proper initialization of the interaction and set the stage - with porn content, the anticipation and stage-setting is just as important to many people as watching the actual act take place - I personally enjoy watching the girl gradually get undressed sexily beforehand during foreplay - I don't want to go straight to naked or to intercourse, I like it gradual as it builds excitement. So as an example in this scenario, maybe you have the captain in his cabin doing whatever - having a drink, going over star charts, on the communicator with somebody, whatever, and the door beeps and he tells the person to come in - it's Lily just wearing high heels and a robe over whatever the player dressed her in and she just asks if he wanted some company and after he says yes, she lets the robe slide off and walks over to the stripper pole and then the actual scene commences, and then after she does the teaser dance, there's a transition animation (like I said, it could potentially be re-used depending on location, movements, and scene design compatibility, etc.) that has the waifu then walk from the stripper pole / teaser scene ending point to the bed to then begin the standard scene and continuing on to the end where they're just laying in bed together, or maybe have a fade out / time skip to the morning showing them getting up from bed together before heading out.

They could also then insert flags into the dialogue that if the player had a given scene with Lily, the next time they talk to Lily, they could have Lily, prior to any main cutscenes, have a brief commentary about how she enjoyed the night before with him, or enjoyed dancing for him, etc., again to add immersion to the world and make it feel more real.

Ultimately that's one of the biggest issues with the scenes right now - there's almost no narrative integration which significantly detracts from the quality of the adult content, and because right now it's just GIFs tied together with time skips between the sections of the scene, there's no proper transition between beginning, middle, and end so it doesn't feel even remotely immersive since it doesn't really flow realistically.

Sorry for the length, just thinking out loud into my keyboard - it's easy for all of us to criticize someone else's work, so sometimes I do sit and think about how a developer could fix a common complaint about a game, etc. that would make me happy enough to consider getting my wallet out for that product.
