The GDrive is unavailable due to too many people trying to download (not their fault ofc, Google does that) and the other site is a bit slow (takes 3 hours, it's limited at 2MB/s or so). The torrent is more or less dead as there are almost no seeders, however once I finish downloading from the 1fichier site (in about 20 more minutes), assuming that's identical to what's in the torrent I'll try having it confirm the files and start seeding from that folder. Torrent should really pick up some speed then. I'll seed it for a while until the evening and then I'll restart seeding overnight if you all still need it.
Thanks for posting this, slawdos.
Edit: removed links so the post is visible. Sorry, I'm new, don't have enough posts :p
I'm currently seeding so try that route, may be faster than the 2MB/s site, even more so after more people join in.

Does anyone know if we're keeping our savefiles after patching the game's version to the most recent one, or do we have to play through the whole story again, just to see the gallery function?
Your save files carry over.

What is new?
For now just the gallery feature, along with some bug fixes. Like the Tauri's Crown mission that automatically selected Lily, you can now properly select a waifu.

How many Waifus can you have as of now? How many of then can you have sex with? And do you know when the ELA Update will come about approximately?

Not a fan of futa content but otherwise last post on their blog look promising.

They didn't gave a clue about when next update is coming tho.

I know they do that in order to avoid backlash if they have a delay, but it's still bad to be blind about their planning.

I don't know if anyone has pointed something like this out. Look at the feet too. They look 100% identical to Honey Select models, both hands and feet. StudioFOW are 100% using Honey Select assects in Subverse, but I don't care much, since I'm not gonna buy the game. :D I just won't give them credit for creating full models, because they used someone else's work and built upon it. And I don't think they asked Illusion for permission.
Except they're not? Sorry for sounding short, but all of my arguments about the differences with the hands applies to the feet as well. They are not "100% identical", they have different proportions (Subverse feet has differences in toe lengths, Honey Select looks like a stump with five equal-length nubs sticking out of it) and different mesh densities, the only similarities is in how the modeler marked the seams in the process of generating a 2D representation of a 3D object.

I mean, I get it, if you don't care that much then you're not going to look very closely, but if that's the case maybe chill on making assumptions about literal criminal activity based on extremely shallow analysis of derivative assets that you don't fully understand.

With the new gallery feature, you can zoom in to whatever body part you want for a closer inspection. Study those toes and fingers :ROFLMAO:

"Resident SFOW internet defense force acts flippantly to deflect criticism, post no 4917"

People are talking about the UV and normalmaps buddy, which have pretty strong indicators they started life as honey select assets. Doesn't matter how heavily modified they became or what warps were done before export.
Now will Illusion piss off the coomers by getting Subverse delisted? Unlikely, even dead to rights. Is it yet more compounding proof "The mass effect of porngames" has been bush league from the start?
>Ye

The modelwork was done before they had any money. Studio FOW, as animators, have always used "borrowed" assets and before Subverse it was fine. They weren't technically selling anything when they were using ninjaripped faces from videogames slapped on random 3D bodies. Crowdfunding of "fair use" parody content is in that happy little grey area of indirect monetization where things like commercial licensing don't come up much.

So FOW back in preproduction making the amateur mistake of not actually having rights to the models turned into their OC donut steel characters?
On par with the rest of their design and development decisions.
We've already gone into "Wow thats fucking low rent" and "If they were going to use a base model, why not... just buy one." many, many pages back. The answer is in the question, it's fucking low rent. If this was the 3 man team $65,000 ramen fueled game it was pitched as, people would still notice but not care much. As a 2 million dollarydoo game, these come off as problems.

It's a redflag people noticed from the start that "these look a lot like honey select, huh" during the backer phase, turned from an eye cock to strong sus since the .0000000000001 of the game released and people unpacked the models. It's just another small thing added to the dogpile for why there is no future here. And paling in comparison to the "next chapter release sometime, just trust us bro we definitely aren't out of money also no refunds we technically met the goals" release schedule for the rest of the game. These basic utility updates haven't moved the needle on the cratered official playercount, much less pushed new copies, and hell as of now you'd be hard pressed to even pirate the damn thing. No one is seeding a subpar 20gig game that can be reduced to a couple minutes of .webm loops.

The 7 second long sex animation loops really are inexcusable. I get that this is their first game, but animating 3D models is something they're known to have lots of experience in. I can give them some leeway on the rest of the game, its mechanics, how awkwardly scenes are unlocked (Pandora), but there's no way they should get a pass for giving us about 20 7 second long sex scenes. There's a thing called quality over quantity. One of the recent journal updates says the next patch will include a 20+ more animations but will those be 7-15 second long animations as well?

Seriously, look at these. All non-premium scenes range from 5 to 7 second long loop animations.

The "Premium" scenes are 30 seconds at best, and this includes the speed up and finishing variations.

It's bad enough that they've already said that there will be no way to unlock optional Mantic scenes through the game's story/gameplay, but the fact that they wholeheartedly expected people to be satisfied with the way the Pandora system was implemented is shocking bad. What's worse is that their community managers started banning users on their official discord server or calling users entitled on the steam forums for criticism they didn't like.

You have tons of users criticizing Pandora and even giving constructive feedback on how to make it better, only for mods on the steam forum to issue a blanket statement that the complaints "aren't the majority and that the Pandora system won't go anywhere
staff.png

I was once even singled out, insulted, and banned by the Community Manager at one point. He literally made up lies that I was abusing other members, but refused to provide a single screenshot proof (there is none, he needed a reason to remove me) of me doing any of his claims. Not a single user online agreed with him, nor did the user unnamed user (he made up, obviously) he claimed to have been complaining about me ever stepped forward.

He first calls me out inside the server itself, then when nobody backs him up on it, he tells me to go into private chat:

He brings me into private chat so that he can make these claims without having to worry about other users pointing out that none of them have seen me abusing others. When asked for the screenshots he claims staff has (obviously has none, nor did the rest of the staff even know about this), he refuses to show any.

He did immediately opts to rageban me the moment he's backed into that corner. You can see from the post timestamps:

Fowchan (the head of community management) is rarely around the the reddit, discord, or steam pages, so the staff can usually get away with banning users to block out comments that give the game bad optics. I was able to contact her through their website and talk about it in discord. She was actually really nice and apologetic about it (although too soft on her staff), and unbanned me.
1626882141818.png

The problem here is that the game's development team and community team seems to lack organization. Staff (not Fowchan to my knowledge) will outright lie about game features, ban users for no reason, blanket denounce feedback as "minority complaints", and do all kinds of things without others in their team knowing about it. For some reason Fowchan doesn't consider him a community manager, despite him being listed as one on their official discord. He and MrKristoff are essentially the two guys to go to

Now bans aren't even the problem. The main issue is that we have community managers and mods within their team silencing users or just acting like children about feedback they don't like, resulting in users getting banned and that feedback being nuked from their discord/reddit. The community manager members have said multiple times in their discord that everything posted in the feedback channel is eventually logged and then looked through by the devs. Banning users for no reason means all their posts are automatically nuked from the server, deleting all that feedback. It's very easy to see how this kind of feedback is in the "minority" when they'll just nuke it, lie to their superiors about it ever happening. They've been so adamant on not changing how the Pandora system works and the way staff is "damage controlling" shows that there are some very big problems in the entire Subverse team as a whole. Nobody seems to be on the same page and the actual devs themselves rarely ever show up to post or make conversations with the community. At best, it's a public statement or dev diary. The disconnect is huge.

NBV They don't want to have the manticore stuff "in your face" through main story, because there is people that doesn't want that kind of stuff. Then have the degenerates unlock it through Pandora by choice if they so desire. So no idea why you say you can't unlock optional mantic scenes, when they all optional to unlock to start with?

People can critique the development on a game, mechanics and so forth. You can hope they do listen to such, but end of the day its their game, and they make it the way they want too. Your choice is to play it or find something else. You come across excessive salty with something that happened 3 months ago. Seem to not really consider anything they stated in recent statements.
