Is it true there is no dialogue in the sex scenes? And no build up dialogue too? I find that surprising. Is it something they intend to add later on?

The main con is that the game is bloody boring. The narrative isn't engaging, and gameplay is just going through the motions. There's no tactical decision depth in ground combat and space combat has bullet spongy enemies with no danger of you actually dying.

Also the sex scenes are pretty meh and have no narrative purpose whatsoever.

Oh well.
"That's just like your opinion, dude"

Nah, this ain't the greatest game ever, but as someone who refused to buy Skyrim, Fallout 4, and a host of other games which I saw as shallow dumbed-down shit, this game ain't that bad. It doesn't pretend to be anything other that what it is. A fun romp, and I did have fun. the space combat sections I actually enjoyed, despite never having played a game like that ever, (prefer rpg games with an emphasis on story). Shame there is no "arena" where you can fight for fun.

The story was meh, but the humor and voice acting made me want to continue. All in all a fun game. This is just my opinion, make of that what you will.

I think players just need to stop hyping up stuff and have realistic expectations. It's a fun game, the sex scenes are decent (some better than others) and a very good showing for a people that have 0 experience in making games.

People that into making animations and 3d renders etc does make for poor coders, musicians, and whole lot of other areas that goes into making an actual game. Just saying they bound to have hired more people working on this. Actual coders, game designers etc. So the money people see as "a lot", doesn't necessary mean much after funding a proper studio with all the cost that entails.
that would matter.. if this was their first time coding, the have interactive movie style games they have done in the past (yes fairly basic but shows they know how to code).

And well, I ain't complaining about the gameplay, it is the animation quality, when compared to more inexperienced people... is quite the issue. i.e. stuff that doesn't really concern the game designer, stuff that concerns what they have experience in. the models are lacking, their movement isn't great, the rendering also is that great either etc.

Check out Our apartment, another indie game that does better than they do when in that regard. And they have even less money, and people.

Again, I am comparing them to people from here, who are newbs, for the most part they aren't massively experienced in much. and most don't have the 8 years experience that studiofow has.

Thought I'd share my CE table for those who are interested in just skipping any sort of grind, what little there is lol. Haven't really shared one in a while so let me know if it's fucked.

It's just for editing the PP of the available girls for right now.
so i opened tha table and loaded the subverse process, but when i try to check the boxes nothing happens, am i missing something?

Uh, you have people on this site "code" in the very basic terms when making games, but if they tried to get hired at some proper game studio with that skillset they would get laughed at and pointed towards the door.

What does you not buying Bethesda games have to do with Subverse being a very generic and boring game that would be ignored if not for the BOOBA that they have going for it?

I think I'm not the only one that was looking forward to it being a good video game in its own right, instead of just relying on it being a porn game. Suffice to say it fails spectacularly in that regard. I'm not even sure why they went for this mishmash of completely different games: a VN, a bullet hell shmup and an XCOM clone, just to do all 3 in a completely mediocre way. You don't need to be an experienced project manager to know that it's just a bad decision to make.

Oh and the porn is also mediocre by the way, even by StudioFOW's standards.

when I speak about people here that code I mean specifically those that work on unity and unreal games, not ren'py.

Is anyone else having difficulty finding the last treasure map piece? I looked everywhere but no more ground combat locations are left.

i just hope more players will pay for it, it may help them to create another one or more in the future
I dont think so, I've seen a couple of threads on steam about people asking for the "ntr" and such and they are very displeased with that and also they are complaining on how short it is (I haven't played it yet because I got an error and I couldn't play) but I dare to put my hand on the fire and say that this game will get lost in the wind and get the orange tag that we all love so much.

Anyone can pick up unreal and unity and start dabble in in. There is enough of free learning courses and entry stuff on the internet. But it doesn't qualify you as studio material though.

Well if the numbers is right. Like 70k sold copies first day and 25k people playing.... Will see for sure when the steamcharts up for it.

Im not saying that the game didn't sold well Cyberpunk 2077 did well too and now I dont see it everywhere also I don't think that out of those 70k buyers and 25k players many of them will be waiting for an update over and over again and also I would like to see how many people asked for a refound
