Right click scans. left click goes into the planet (when you're close to it) to see what type of mission it has.

good set of girls, but gameplay... good only by nsfw games standards... mass effect still can't be surpassed...

I hate glazers like you. For how much money these guys raked in, this game is complete shit in comparison. Its a glorified visual novel with a gallery viewer. With occasional boring minigames with the depth of a puddle. This ain't it. Id much rather they just continued making videos instead of games. They clearly do not have the aptitude for games. Proper adult game devs would know how to integrate h scenes into the gameplay flawlessly while also having a game that is actually fun. Instead of this crap gallery viewer. And most of the h scenes are looping 5 second gifs anyway so its a shitty gallery viewer at that. I straight up struggle to stay awake playing this slop.
I completely agree with you. This is a good example of a game that literally has no gameplay. If for people the simplest "tactic" (it's even embarrassing to call it a tactical combat system) is all they have, then that's already a diagnosis. For the money they received, they could have done much better and more, not to mention the gameplay. Why does Carnal Instinct have gameplay? Or YUNA? I can confidently say that even Erokin has better and more content than Subverse. In conclusion: Subverse is a hack job, thrown together hastily with other people's money, and people are even encouraging it. People have completely lost their minds.

NGL this game would be better of as a movie, with all the D-quest like the adult stuff, i think it would have been more popular, maybe it woldent make as much money but atlest it would be a masterpiece in the rule34 part of the internet

Any news on what FOW is up to? I know they were releasing translations but I imagine they don't need animators/programmers/designers etc for that

I would imagine it’s a few things, one the remaining content for fow-Chan. Creating additional scenes for characters that are fewer in number compared to others.

Also their home site has been down for a while. Last time it was redesigned was when we got the original subverse teaser.

Them being quiet about things is fairly standard for them. Even during the Patreon times they didn’t post much other than when a trailer was up for a release date and obviously the releases themselves.

itsa shame, it really is a great game with awesome characters
the game is not the problem, it's that they moved fully into 97% gameplay and 3% porn. people wanted their game to have at lesat 50% and not 97% of gameplay, this isn't a studio known for making games, no one gives a fuck. people came here for the sex scenes and this game just didn't supply enough of it.

just an opinion... I didn't like the copy paste of known characters anyway, when they stopped using video game characters and argued this game would feature new sexy characters people were hyped. at the end it's a fun game but it's still a game, people want to fap, if they wanted a game like this they would play mass effect games XD

Just want to note some things, they didn't 'stop using video game characters' they were in the midst of working on several things when Patreon suddenly kicked them off the platform. They had plans then, they still have plans now (see the anniversary video).

Second they were always going to make a game, as it was a milestone goal from their Patreon. And even though it was removed, they still decided to go ahead with it, and make it their sole focus. It doubled as establishing their own IP and characters, as well as experience in Unreal Engine, which they'll use to animate in the future.

They made it clear during funding and development that this wasn't going to be like the usual adult games that are just a bunch of text, some bridging choices and good/bad endings, or some basic match-3 game. They wanted to make a full-on game title with adult content. If no one 'gave a fuck' then I don't see how they went and raised over 2 million pounds to make it in the first place :)

If you don't like it, that's fine, but they delivered is still far above and beyond the typical smut game. I honestly can't go back to a not voiced game, this game has absolutely spoiled that with its full voice cast.

They voiced their intention to make films again after this, so you didn't have to concern yourself with them solely making games. This was a journey for them as is, and completing it in just 5 years when there are so many less complex games here that have been in development since before Subverse existed and still have yet to be completed is commendable, and cannot be denied.

This isn't an attack or arguing your opinion, its yours to have. But many folks here have voiced their displeasure without knowing all the facts or just reading the FAQ's of the kickstarter campaign.

Maybe someone should attach the Anni video with a fat "Yes, they're going to make videos again!" in the OP.

i agree with you, i and i i think the majority of people that played this game are positive when it comes to the gaming aspect, with great story and characters. Even tho people are mixed when it comes to the Pandora mechanics instead of having the porn/lewd scenes progress with in the story people are satisfied with game as a whole. Sure stuff could have been better but its by far one of the best adult games without an question. I hope the studio gives us a great dlc and a D-quest for fowchan..

Didn't they try some new crowdfunding shit for those and got like 4% funded at most?
Yes, but I’d wager there were a number of reasons for that. They couldn’t mention or link to it in the anniversary video, only those on the discord would’ve been alerted to it. Not could they post it on twitter either as linking to outside sites tends to get an account shadowbanned.

Sharing links on the internet is so much more buried now because of these stupid algorithms they have running the sites nowadays. Kickstarter was easier as you could easily promote it back then.
