I mentioned it earlier, the experimental 3d scene they tried with Taron's quest. It didn't work out, was deemed to be too costly to development (which is why her total scene count is much lower than the others). It was turned into another Pandora scene instead, you can see the animation, it just doesn't take place in the ship anymore. So I was going through the Steam discussions and noticed this thread aboutYou must be registered to see the links. Does anyone have more info on this? I didn't know they removed sex scenes in the final version.![]()
I also imagined the game devs were paid more than themselves. They did say they hired experienced devs in the dev diaries.I think people don't understand how little 1.7 million dollars are. If you take that and spilt it up by 20 people that's only about $85,000 for each, and I am pretty sure there are more than 20 working on this project. You would probably have a better understanding than I do, but I would assume they use the Kickstarter as a way of generating investment to fund the game. I work with my family business and that not even what we make a year and we don't even have haft that amount of employees, and if we made haft that much we would be out of business with in 2 months. A dollar isn't what it used to be but a big pile will always be a big pile.
They used what they got, famously they said they were approached by an investor who wanted them to plug in the usual AAA slop, aka microtransactions and such, and they turned them down immediately once that came up.
