its not like people have died due to covid or anything right?
I mean cmon, covid's real, so does its impact and casualities. But This thing was kickstarted on March 2019 if im not mistaken, by that point they've pretty much have already had the overall concepts of world building and characters and the direction of the game. it has been a full 2 years, and total lockdown period lasts around march 2020-september the longest. if they have an office or something that requires them to work from a physical building, as long as they applied general protocols they shouldnt really had that much of hindrances to postpone their works. But if they work remotely, i dont really think it's wise for them to actually go for "covid 19 shitshow" as an excuse. Just my thought though

I work in and around IT for 20+ years, and have tons of friends and acquientaces that are software developers. Every single one of them says that WFH is the best thing that has ever happened in their line of work. If anything, productivity went up.

I get that they had a lot of time but I wonder how many times they worked on something and spent lots of time on it to be scratched off or changed to make it work with a new idea etc. There are factors that we dont know about.

My CE isn't finding those. Then again, I just went to add address manually and thought it would find it, maybe I'm missing something.
those are addresses. you cant copy paste addresses, every time you start the game they randomize. Use my trainer.

you're missing the point....

it means the normies at steam are used to low quality H stuff
so you can throw barebones shit at them, they'll consume it happily
If you call Subverse barebone shit with its early release. What should all the degenerates on this site (the non normies), relate to what get released on this site then? How many of the releases found on this site made you real happy?

thats the main problem here studioFOWs fan base knows what they are capable of doing but on the other hand there is a lot of people on steam that bought the game and (Im pretty sure) they dont know that they made those movies so they are doing this to get more people to play the game as for the money they have to pay all the VA and the ones who made the music etc
There is a difference between make animations/movies and actual games though. Just because you are good at one thing doesn't make you good at another. There is whole different skillsets involved and required.

a lot actually, tons of great games that get released on f95
this game was hyped and under delivered. just look at the rating here and see why people are not pleased.
animations are very basic, only involving one scene thats looped.

plot is fine and the game had comedy so thats a positive.

That seems to be the main issue people know how good they are making animations and they where expecting to see that in the game. I dont know where I readed it but someone said that they just should have done a serie of videos out of this instahead of a game.

People, what the fuck did you expect?! Is not like they're known for some Christopher Noland level writing or building a cohesive plotline in their videos, or even game development for that matter.
All they did in the past was parody loop animation of low poly characters with some decent physics and voice acting - some of them movies don't even feature path/ray tracing rendering.

It's clear that... they just saw a rise in the adult gaming market and decided to make a game of their own, took the nutaku formula and set up a $100.000 idea... then the normies got a little overexcited.

For the record.
*I think the gameplay is fun, better than 90% of any other patreon game i've seen on this website.
*for a first release, its more polished than a lot of AAA games.
*The sex scenes are a little short and limited in terms of functionality, but the animations are 10/10.
*The dialogue may not be some Shakespeare level script but i think the Deadpool style story fits it a lot better.
it's a good game.

If Subverse end up make it good (sales), then more game studios might start take a gander at the genre with somewhat more serious effort.
That really is the upside to all this. There was always the potential for triple A sex games to be monumentally profitable. There's just never been many high talent developers willing to "take the risk". Now that its been unequivocally proven that a sex game with real effort behind it will make big money I'm hoping that it will motivate bigger budget projects going forward.

Name 3 games from this site that made you REALLY happy at their 0.1 release then? Games that you threw your wallet at...

I'm not saying all that get leaked on this site is bad, some of it quite good actually. But when you state Subverse is barebone shit, it would be nice to actually compare it to something concrete....

As I understand, 2 years ago they had a kickstarter and raised around 2M$. They had funds to hire competent people in areas where they lack. Am I wrong?

lmao this game is such a scam, just go watch some blender/sfm animations on pornhub instead
$2mil+ and 2-3 years of development and this is the best they could come up with? what a joke
Don't fool yourself guys, porn part of the game won't get any better

You're not wrong, (though hiring competent people is a skill in itself)
Also, sometimes a lot of money doesn't equate quality. Sure, it makes it prettier. but also generic... having the tendency to cater to the masses. Look at blockbuster movies for example.
They raised almost $2M in funding, but it was a $100.000 idea.
