\AppData\Local\Subverse\Saved\SaveGames

You put them in there..
yeah I found that folder but everyone is only sharing the single save, there is also a folder with the same name that has other saves as well. You need the folder and the other save to match otherwise the game doesnt load the save.

The savegame folder contain your 1 save file, and 4 backup's of earlier saves, the backup saves matters not...
"Subverse Save Game Slot 1.sav" is the only one that does afaik.

Doesnt work for me, ive tried leaving the folder in and taking it out. I even tried my same save file without the folder and it treated it like it didnt exist. The only way my save registers to load a game is if I have the folder and the .sav file together at the same time.

Well, my save file is inside the SaveGames\ and it does work. I don't have savefiles any other place than that. Maybe there is some conflict with the config, Idk...

Mine has to have it just like this for the save to register in game, if I remove the folder it wont load the save, and if I leave the folder and change the save file outside which is what everyone is uploading then the game doesnt register the save in game. Subverse.png

will they be adding context to the Pandora scenes? that's the main thing they need to do, add short dialogues for those and for scenes moving forward. optimally they'd be behind side-quests

Two things in this universe are certain: entropy and the fact that no matter what FOW does, haters will always find another excuse to hate.
There is still a lot of rightfull reasons to be disappointed by this game and a lot of problems are not solved yet.

They did greatly improved their communication, and their words needs to translate into concrete in-game improvements.

Should I redownload everything everytime there is an update and start a new history, or not ?
You need to download EVERYTHING when there is a new update. But you can continue with your save file. No need to start play from scratch.

If you have it on steam or gog you only download the actual update.

The issue is that you're not renaming the file. Do you see how the original file is named? That's the name it expects. Anything else won't work.

Once you do this, it'll work fine.

Ive done that, I know to delete all the extra numbers that it adds. It still acts like there is no save, only option is new game. If I add my save back in it suddenly has a load game option.

My save file has the underscores as well, its written exactly the same.

If you're not looking for porn specifically then I recommend you play Star Control 2, or better yet the Ur-Quan Masters, or the Mega Mod, which are both remakes of Star Control 2. Look it up on Youtube to see the differences between them. It's an older game which Mass Effect and Subverse both mimic, and which in my opinion fail to capitalize on what made the game so great.

The game is very similar to Mass Effect and Subverse. You play as a nameless captain who pilots a ship across the galaxy with the intent of toppling an evil empire. You explore the galaxy in a non-linear way, gathering resources and items, and interacting with various alien species. Some you will befriend, some you will have to fight, and some will be willing to help you... for a price. The dialogue is extremely clever and well written and all the characters you will meet are colorful and memorable.

The galaxy map is free to explore in any way you wish. Exploration is always rewarded, be it in the form of resources or interactions with alien species. Just be aware that the game does have a time limit so if you have OCD and you want to explore every single asteroid you will get the bad ending. The aforementioned remakes (I think the Mega Mod) has options to remove the time limit if you so wish, but I think it's best to leave it on since this provides the game with extra tension, and the time limit isn't THAT constraining anyway.

Just like in Subverse there is an asteroids like combat minigame. And again just like in Subverse you can take various alien characters (that you have previously recruited) during these combat missions and they will each offer different advantages to your ship. There's no tactical combat sections, however there's a minigame where you land a speeder on planets in order to gather resources just like the mako in Mass Effect.

Like I said this is not a porn game, however there is an race of bodacious blue alien babes that you get to bang behind a black screen.

Again, I highly recommend you play this game. And if you want porn you can always alt-tab to pornhub and watch .gifs made in Blender. That's not a much different experience with how Subverse handles it anyways, except SC 2 actually has a good story and gameplay.
