I just bought this (about two hours ago) on Steam. It is only early access, but so far it is better then about 95% of the finished adult games out there. It also has better voice acting than a lot of the normal games. If you can, I'd like to recommend you purchase it.

This is one of the few adult games I actually planned on purchasing once it came out. I don't mind supporting some devs on patreon but this is from FOW so I am just going to buy it on steam.

Man, I did this mistake on another forum today too.
I should have said hentai games, not just any adult games.

Steam completely blocks all forms of IRL sexual scenes, and while SS3 afaik doesn't have anything that's directly showing sex, the lingerie apparently was what set them off.

Steam (and almost any other non-porn focused platform) will block that kind of content because of fears of a lot of legal repercussions, like with what happened here;

Steam doesn't want to be caught with their pants down after they find out that the SS3 team (or any other dev working with people's bodies IRL) didn't thoroughly check the ages of the people in their game, and then they wake up to a news article that there's underage sexual content in a large selling game on their platform.

Any platforms that allow IRL nudity pretty much have extremely strict age checks for the performers themselves, which Steam themselves doesn't implement, because 99.9% of games aren't going to have that kind of real-person-nudity content.

I mean people cheat on each other all the time, it more common than you know, and doesn't hurt if you hide it well. Hi! I downloaded the four parts through nopy, but when I try to extract Subverse.zip it gives me this error:

Can not open the file as [zip] archive
Is not archive

Does anyone has a fix for this?

I do agree gameplay makes it interesting. I too was a fan of Huniepop in its heyday. I just feel like its unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming. There should at the very least be a way to make it semi-optional for those not interested. A god mode or cheat mode or minecraft creative mode type of deal.

It's not really aimed at those not interested in the gameplay. It's needed to level the people and get resources for upgrades.

It's an actual game, if that's not your thing then this won't be for you.

Look, I usually hate NTR games, but I believe that NTR is not really what happens on Subverse, since the beginning you know that every girl that you will fuck will also fuck the manticores, and since they are aliens mindless monsters that are controlled by whoever is using the collar, I usually think of it as part of my main character.
Another thing that, at least for the moment, makes it okay, is the fact that a really engaging and lovely romance is not what is the focus of the game, so there ain't no really hard feelings.
I do hope that characters like the friendly senator don't have a go with "our" girls, but i believe this will not be happening, since, as far as I see, sex scenes will only have the captain or xenos.
I get when people say that the game is repetitive, mainly know that we have only two options of girls, I really enjoy the combat with xenos and also liked the space combat, but it is true that after some times, the space combat get a little bit repetitive.
BTW: Fuck those dick suicide bots, always making me get silver medals.
Of course we prefer scenes with dialogues, but I believe they are focusing their work on quantity over having a really engajing H-Scene, the quality, however, is far from beign something that lacks on the art/render/smoothness.
I'm not quite sure how much was on it on dollars, since I'm brazilian, but I paied around 57 reais, that is the equivalent of 10 dollars, and since I know that there is a lot of content ahead of us that I will not have to pay for it, I believe it was fucking worth every penny.
Of course it is not perfect, I would prefer more scenes with the Captain, more penetrations that you can actually see the girl pussy and some other specific points, but I do not believe this really makes the game bad.
i was really anxious for this early access and I'm definetely not disappointed with what we have.
Can't wait for the dev diary to know when we will have access to the new act.

As far as NTR goes, I will put it like this, if it is just a random game for a little fun I don't really care. If it is a game I am into for the story, I don't like to see it.

For what people are saying... Subverse's sex content seems not to be really great.
But I also noted that Wild Life had a new build launched just today, and it is probably in Wild Life's thread here (or it soon will be)
What do you guys think about Wild Life? The developer said that it will be on Steam this year also
I'm downloading Subverse to give it a try, but will also be downloading Wild Life's new build when I have the chance

OK, after playing through it I have say, this was not that good...

TL;DR
The game in general seems very light on content, taking into account the studio behind it and the long development cycle that preceded it.
The porn, regardless of what you decide to put on your plate of delights; is thin, with the impressive exception being the few interactive scenes with live changes in behavior
The combat is also pretty damn light, with occasional interesting boss fights that in the end is too little of a change in the monotony of the rest of the game.
The story is seems a bit on the light side also, this is however after what amounts to some 20-30 minutes of exposition, so not much time to flesh it all out, you do get the general gist of things, in a very tongue-in-cheek "isn't it funny how we're following tropes ironically guise??"- kind of way.

The word to describe this release is: light.

I wish the best of luck to the studio, but this looks like it could easily fall into early access hell, hopefully it doesn't.
PS. please for the love of god optimize the fucking loading screens, sweet baby jesus

Most people don't see a difference and the only website that actually lists them differently is VNDB. The reality is that someone else fucking your "waifu" is ntr and the fact its agreed upon doesn't really matter to people that hate that sort thing regardless. So the distinction is basically academic except to cucks who want it done a certain way. Sort of how there are furries and "scaleys", but everyone who isn't a furry just calls them all furries because no one else cares.

Killi's right click in space combat seems to work well on them. Otherwise in ground combat, try and pickup Napoleon early and go 3 ranged units.
