I would assume so? The game just came out in November, I wouldn't expect the next content that soon. And they take a break for the holidays anyway, that's been the norm since development began.

Sauce? We know from Lily that the mantics do indeed have their own feelings and personality, kinda like dogs. That's basically what her whole storyline is about. Just because they are wearing collars sometimes in the scenes doesn't mean Cap or the girls are controlling them, and the scenes sure don't feel that way neither. They have possibly been given "orders" to procreate with the target and not harm it, but nothing more.

Not that it matters though if that's the justification for the anti-ntr crowd to keep playing. There are plenty of gangbang scenes with actual sentient species along with the space whale scenes that are evidently not being controlled.
