Subverse was released in November last year, but the game's development is not finished yet, as there are two free DLCs that are scheduled to be released this year. The first is Studio 69, a special club for Captain to date his waifus. The add-on will only be available to Kickstarter backers, but after its release it will probably be leaked to everyone else. And the second is the studio's mascot Fou-chan, a succubus and Captain's last waifu. According to the new developer diary, Fou-chan's release is scheduled for early March 2025.I wonder if we get to see more Celestine (especially NSFW scenes), but last thing I've heard is that her VA isn't doing NSFW stuff anymore. Maybe out of personal reasons or she signed up with a bigger company which doesn't allow her to work on such projects, that I don't know.
Anyway, with the VA gone, I don't know if they are going to bring Celestine back for future content or in which form. Perhaps they cast a replacement VA and explain they change in voice through some story reason or maybe they simply break the 4th wall and say outright in-game that they had to change VA, wouldn't be totally out of character for them.
The developers also announced that official localization of the game into Chinese, Korean, Russian, Portuguese and other languages has been launched. The game's sales have exceeded 600 thousand copies. As soon as the developers cover the commission, license fees and royalties, all proceeds will go towards improving the game. Free updates, localization fixes and some paid DLC are currently in development.
