one of the problems with the game is that they're trying to be really humorous and it falls flat most of the time. A Gordon Ramsey parody is not funny nor is making fun of the Subverse name controversy that happened. I think the game would be better if they try to take it a little more serious. The gameplay is ok atm, the shmup section is aight, the turn base based battle needs more work on it to make it better.

Long long ago. I like the story and gameplay so far. I'm not gonna lie, was hoping for more from the Pandora system, but it is only a small sampling of what will likely be dozens more coming, along with several more ladies to recruit. Its a good start, and certainly more than you'd get from any other smut game with a 0.1 launch.

The animations are nice, but if theres no customization for the protagonist or no free cam, then its not worth it for me.

Thoooough... the sex scenes are like animated gifs with sound and speed adjustment pretty much, someone could easily just upload them as videos to Pornhub and save you the time.

Objectively, the lack of specific context for individual scenes gives confusion for how the scene started, except for specifically the recruitment scenes so far.
Subjectively, It would be nice if the scenes had specific context. I would like that, and it's a little disappointing there isn't currently more contextual scenes.

Not having information on how most of the scenes started is an objective fact about the game. Past that though we shouldn't project if that's subjectively important or not on other people and insult them over it. Some people might not care about this and enjoy the rest of the game or not for various other subjective reasons.

None of us are inherently better just because we post here. We shouldn't belittle others for liking or disliking aspects of things.

Some scenes (like the Recruitment) have context as they occur as part of the story. I can understand why folks may not like the contextless scenes, but I'm wagering now that if they had integrated more scenes in the story, like the mantics, then people would reaaaaaaaaally blow up over having to see them (since they are so paranoid about this game being NTR when it isn't ).

I’m holding off till the full release to play anymore, I’m hoping they take the feedback and make it better instead of letting wither and die but a comment on the discord summed it up pretty well, it was something like when Lily was saying how the captain and her fucked like 4 times in one session and you’re like wait no we didn’t I was out grinding xp and flying a space ship, there’s a big disconnect.

There's just enough here to be unlocked by the gameplay that's available. There'll be more scenes added as the game progresses.

The game autosaves frequently enough that this shouldn't be a problem for now.

Probably because it's a game with a pre release status, there is not much of a point reviewing a game that is not finished. Honestly I would wait for the full released version of the game instead, although it is dissapointing they haven't finished the game yet taking in consideration the amount of money they received and the years they've been working on it.

As you progress through the game, you got PP Points to spend on unlocking scenes for the girls. That is how Subverse's "Unlocked through Progression" mechanics. And to play it (the scenes), you got to visit Pandora for it... or the Gallery at the Pub (which comes in later in an update or two).

They got the momentum, decided to hit the brakes, now they're crashing and burning and doing damage control. Well, this ain't gonna change the first impression of the game, and thanks to that, I'll just wait it out for the next update to see if they change or add anything worth everyone's time to actually play the game again.

I really wanna see the breakdown of that 2million USD. Say they had 100 people working there at the time, paying each of them 5000 USD (more than the average US salary in 2019). That would mean they paid, in the 2 years of development, $1,000,000 in salary Horribly bad math, overlook that, 5k for 100 people would be 12 million for 2 years. In a more reasonable scope, let's say they paid 10 people 5000 dollars, that would be 1.2 million. Let's add to that some extra manual development, maybe animations or modelling with mocap, which would cost about $10,000 to buy, on top of warehouse rent, and third party equipment to support that mocap, which would get up to $25,000. Maybe they decided to run some marketing, and hire PR reps and such (I highly doubt) and paid them full price, and let's be generous and say it cost $100,000. Maybe we can even add office rent, which costs roughly 15 per sq.foot, and let's assume the office is 1500 sq.feet. That would make it cost $22,500 a month, or $540,000 for 2 years. Total comes up to $1,865,000, which begs the question, where in the fuck, did the rest of the 2.2 millions dollars, or $235,000 go ? Up into thin air ?

I'd say monthly to bi-monthly if we want to use their development diaries on Kickstarter as a base estimate.

I just bought this (about two hours ago) on Steam. It is only early access, but so far it is better then about 95% of the finished adult games out there. It also has better voice acting than a lot of the normal games. If you can, I'd like to recommend you purchase it.

i appreciate the hard work that went into this. but it simply isn’t good, and baring a complete revamp. the end product won’t be good.

It is a comedy focused game where you will spend most your playing time watching dialogue scenes with no choices where all the jokes fall flat, the gameplay consists of supremacy basic and boring turn based grid combat and overhead shoot-em-up, and the sex consists of contextless 4 second loops with no dialogue and one camera angle.
