You need the crack files, also in the OP, I believe. Although some others have posted newer versions of the game in this thread that are said to be pre-cracked - just scroll up a bit to see them.

I downloaded Subverse and crack here, everything works great, thank you.

Here are my impressions after completing Act 1 and starting Act 2.

When I play Dead or Alive, I see beautiful sexy girls. How their thighs are revealed when their skirt is disobedient in combat, how they wear attractive clothes that emphasize sexy curves.

When I play Subverse, I see never-ending tons of dialogue, fleas in a ground battle game, and fleas in an Asteroids game. I thought it would be sexy gameplay.

The characters are quite good, the story as well, I wish Subverse was just a 90-minute adult animated film. Playing Subverse is a waste of time for me. I don't want to play a ground battle game or asteroids.

No, I had enough information, I watched FOW from the beginning with their animated adult parodies. For example, the short film Lara in Trouble or Kunoichi Broken Princess. I was expecting an adventure that would, among other things, mix elements of asteroids and battle ground, not just these two mini-games for main gameplay. I expected choices in dialogues, interactivity in sex scenes as well. So I find Gons Raid Her a much more fun erotic game. The game picked up 2 million + on the kickstarter. Was it wrong to expect something more AAA than just such a mini-game? I think there were a lot of promises. Big game, a revolution in the genre. Mass Effect for adult. But this is miles away.

Tbf callling it 'mass effect, but adult' is more from articles writing about it. You couldn't possibly expect a game like Mass Effect to be done by folks on their first attempt with such a small budget (yes that is a small budget in comparison to the games you'd like it to be). People also inflated the gameplay comparing it to XCOM, when its really more comparable to smaller Grid-based games like Final Fantasy Tactics (One of the dev diaries is even named Tactics Ass-vanced, to further prove that).

Subverse was designed to be a game with porn, not the other way around. So everyone that's been going in thinking the sex would be upfront, yeah are gonna be disappointed, but if you didn't read into the diaries and dev process, then that's kinda on you. You have to play the game and work for the smut.

And again calling the main gameplay minigames is kinda insulting when bullet hell shooters, and grid-based tactical RPG's are genres all on their own. If its easy sure, but then its only the beginning of the game, its not gonna be that difficult immediately, there are planned to be harder difficulty scenarios later in the game.

Seeing people post on the steam forums and demand for skips and cheats to make it easier.. idk about everyone find it easy though

Pretty legit to call them minigames. Even if they are core part of the game, they are uninventive and simple. You cant compare them to games where they are main mechanic.

They're simple cuz its their first game, they didn't want to do something that complex for their first title ever. You don't create Grand Theft Auto off the bat, you work up to that level.

The thread OP may not be updated, but people have posted the latest version - just scroll up the comments a bit and you'll see the newer version.

there's only been a number of small patches and a gallery feature added thus far. The next content update is still being worked on.

They're simple cuz its their first game, they didn't want to do something that complex for their first title ever. You don't create Grand Theft Auto off the bat, you work up to that level.

If Rockstar had released "GTA1" today, I doubt it would been that popular..... GTA franchise had a evolution from then to now. First time game dev's with a limited budget doesn't have the luxury to splurge, they need to play it safe. Rockstar that been milking GTA5 for 8 years, they can afford to do whatever the f they want.

Cuphead is more a platformer that got more in common with mega man, mario, turrican, whatever. touhou been in evolution ever since 1996, it's not even geared towards casual players. If FOW did make that game element in their game that hard, it would make the outcry even louder. There is people who already call the bullet hell part to hard as it is.

If you like that kind of punishment when playing, of course YOU would find that type of game better. But average Joe that want to progress through the game to get more boobies and kittens to watch would go into tantrums...
